4.0 out of 5 starsEvery person’s hair is different and your mileage will definitely vary from other people who have had good or bad experiences with any hair product

It comes in a soft tube with gold text on the front. The ORIBE emblem is embossed on the hard-plastic cap. The only instructions on the back read “Massage, indulge (for at least one minute), rinse”.
Every person’s hair is different and your mileage will definitely vary from other people who have had good or bad experiences with any hair product. I’m going to describe my experience with it. I used this after using the “ORIBE Hair Care Signature Shampoo” to wash my hair. Since that shampoo is fairly strong and did strip my hair of all moisture and oil, a strong conditioner was best suited to rejuvenate my hair afterward. This product fits the bill. It leaves hair super-soft and silky after an application. I have hair that get’s very dry without special care but this made it easy to manage moisture content throughout the day. Although my hair is not currently damaged, having dealt with damaged hair before I can say that this product would do wonders for dry, frizzy, damaged hair.
One major criticism that is common along all ORIBE hair products at the moment is the lack of a seal. Reading some of the other reviews reassured me that my concerns were valid. There is no packaging to indicate that the product has not been tampered with in any way. Perhaps a classy gold seal would not only add to the look and design of the product, but would reassure consumers that they did not get a bad bottle or a knockoff product. Having said that, I am sure that all products coming through Amazon are genuine but in general a seal is better than no seal.
Regarding the cost. You are getting 200 ml of product for $59.00. Assuming 10 ml of product use per application on average, that amounts to $2.90 per use, before tax. Is this a lot for a single use of conditioner? Yes. Is it less expensive than getting a similar wash at a salon, yes. I don’t think this will be a daily use product for most people. It will be a luxury product put in a rotation of other products and used once in a while. In that use case it makes sense that it is so expensive. Otherwise, if used in your hair every other day it will amount to $43.50 per month.
Overall, this is a luxury product and will deliver excellent results. I would suggest it if you want to pamper yourself with a high-end salon quality product that will transform your hair beyond your expectations. The price is high but the product is solid and performs well.
4.0 out of 5 starsFantastic hair care from Oribe, at a steep price

I almost want to sound like those French commercials, where the light wind and ocean waves create a background upon which a beautiful accented french maiden says "Oribeeeeeee, something you simply can't afford" LOL I can only imagine you pissed you'd be.
But you know what? It's the truth! The Oribe product line is very expensive, but here's the catch—they are actually worth the money you pay. So if you have money, and you want results, give it a try and watch yourself grow hair that only Madame Chic-cette can only rival.
I had my mother test this stuff out, and here are the results: without any harsh chemicals, hair was significantly softer, cleaner, smoother, less frizzy, and more bouncy. Repeated use brought out better results...please don't forget that hair care products that advertise vitamins and all of that marketing crap are just that: crap because they fail tell you that hair is dead skin, and the only way you're going to make it nicer is by using products that act on the cuticles outside of each strand and on the keratin within each strand.
4.0 out of 5 starsExcellent conditioner and definitely passes as a unisex scent but pricing is hard to ignore.

This is 2nd Oribe conditioner that I have had the privilege to try and like the first, it is excellent at what it is supposed to do. It leaves hair shiny, soft and manageable with no residual or greasy feeling. Hair is light and fluffy and not at all weighed down. Frizz control is above par. User with long hair will see that they have to use a fair amount to ensure coverge.
The unisex assertion proves to be a correct one. A typically Oribe amazing fragrance to this conditioner, that is well suited to men and women. None of the above can be denied but the price is hard to ignore and truthfully, my budget conditioners do as well in some cases and close to as well in others and I assure you, they are ALOT larger in quantity and alot smaller in price.
If you are used (and able) to treat yourself to this high level of product, I totally get it and would encourage you to do so but for me, it will be nothing more than an impressive experience.
4.0 out of 5 starsMakes my hair feel so soft, but it's pricey.

This conditioner is really nice. I have long, colour treated hair and I feel that it's brittle on the ends. I get regular trims but the abuse from the hair dryer and straightener take its toll.
The conditioner is really thick. It's very creamy. I only needed a small amount to put through my long hair. I tend leave it in my hair for a few minutes as I shave my legs. The conditioner rinses out easily and I can feel how soft my hair felt even as I rinse it out.
My hair is usually quite tangled after a shower and I am able to comb it out much easier with this product. My hair is soft and shiny, especially after using this for several shampoos.
The scent is strong, but it doesn't seem overpowering. It's perfume-like but I liked it more than most products with a strong scent. It's actually quite pleasant.
The main issues is the price. It's very pricey for me. I don't mind buying products from my hairstylist at a premium, but they are usually quite targeted to my needs.
Overall, it's very nice. I liked it, but it's just beyond my price point.
4.0 out of 5 starsOverall, it's a good conditioner, if not quite right for me or my hair type

Hair type: Prone to dry ends, more oily roots, ageing hair, naturally wavy and greying.
I have mixed feelings about this conditioner and when it comes right down to it, each person's hair type is so individual that what works for one, might not work for another. For example, my biggest problem with this conditioner is that I felt like my hair became greasy very quickly. Normally I can get two days between showers before my hair starts to look greasy (the third day). So usually I shower, skip day, shower. But with this conditioner I noticed my hair was always like third day hair, but on the second day. However, other people in my household didn't have this issue. If you wash your hair everyday, this might not even be an issue for you either.
Mixed feelings come from the fact that this conditioner did leave my hair very soft and nice afterwards; the difference was immediate and noticeable. I would compare it to using the extra hydrating conditioners that tend to come with hair dyes, my hair just felt a lot more nourished.
The scent is a bit strange on this. If you smell it right away, it smells pleasant and a little 'shimmery' if that makes sense. However, rub it on your palms to prepare to condition your hair and the scent changes. Then it has this weird rubbery under scent that really bothered me. However, it's not strong enough to stick around or be unbearable. Just something to be aware of if you like your products to smell all good all the time.
Overall, it's a good conditioner, if not quite right for me or my hair type. It leaves hair super soft, but made my hair go greasy faster so I probably wouldn't use it again even though I liked it. If you wash your hair daily, it could be right for you.
Note: I used this with my regular brand of shampoo as I did not receive the matching shampoo.
4.0 out of 5 starsMuch nicer than the matching shampoo, but still too pricey

While this conditioner is better than the shampoo they also sent, the price is still not justified.
Pros: - smells much better than the shampoo, this one is more than tolerable and actually smells pretty good - does leave hair feeling good, nice and smooth - it is above average in terms of quality
Cons: - higher in quality, but disproportionately expensive with the quality
Overall this is much better than the shampoo in terms of smell and quality, but who would spend dozens of dollars on a small conditioner? I would rather buy the 'fancy' stuff from the store and only spend $10-15 than $60+ ($62 at time of review).
this conditioner made my hair soft and fluffy. a real joy to run my fingers through. youll need something to manage the style though, as your hair will do whatever it wants to otherwise. ive used this a few times and each time i forget what using it was like, i take that to indicate that it does what it claims but theres nothing outstanding about it to make it memorable or stand out from other conditioners.
I only gave it 4 stars because of its price. it stands up to the product claims, but many other conditioners do too for a fraction of the price.
A really nice hair conditioner. It does not leave any residues. It leaves hair soft, smooth, and more manageable. I have quite a few hair frizz and this one effectively reduces frizz for my hair. My only gripe is the price of this conditioner. A bottle of similar size can usually be purchased at 5-15 bucks in drug stores but this one is significantly more expensive.
Overall it's a very nice hair conditioner but priced too high.

It is a rich and creamy conditioner that has an amazing fragrance that really gives you that "I am spoiling my hair" feeling. It leaves your hair feeling nourished and soft. It is a great compliment when used with the shampoo.
My hairstylist recommended this after the damage my hair suffered after using wen. It did help correct this issues done by wen and since I started using ORIBE I have noticed a difference in my hair. it is softer and does not feel weighed down. My hair has body and shine that other conditioners don't provide. You don't use as much either, a little does go a long way.
