Fist, the current price for these are very good. I do not know if I would pay the $44 they were asking for these, which is just over the top, but $18 is more on point and a very good value.
Second, Wow, the quality is nice. So I purchased a laminator recently that comes with 30 laminating pouches, Great, but I went ahead and purchased this box of scotch when I made my order as I knew I would end up needing more.
So I did a test lamination with a sheet that came with the laminator and one of these scotch sheets, I did not notice much difference or any really at all before laminating but the difference in the result was day and night.
The generic sheet came out ok, clear and fully laminated but the bottom edge was a bit curled and the edges in general just looked kind of crapy, even had a bit of waviness throughout, kind of like wrinkles I guess.
But the Scotch sheet came out fantastic, super clear, Flat, all the edges look super clean and straight and the corners are even rounded and smooth rather than pointy. I am very happy with these and will probably make this my regular brand, well unless the price jumps way back up.
I guess the quality of the lamination sheet you use is more of a factor of your final outcome than the quality of your laminator.
These laminating pouches are very heavy duty. I am a school counselor. I love laminating items so that I can use and reuse them. Items can be easily disinfected. With this weight, you are able to cut items after laminating them, and it will stay intact.
I have so far had no issue with these. I am new to laminating, but these worked really well for the homemade planner dividers I made. Good thickness. I haven't noticed any clouding. What more could you ask for? Good laminating sheets.
It’s my fist time using the laminator paper so I can say for the most part is really not what I expected but like I said it’s my first time so it’s just a learning game for me at this point. It does get stuck in the machine so.........
I’ve always used 3M laminating pouches, but heard that 5M is better for school use. It definitely produces stiff sheets when paired with cardstock and the sheets are crystal clear, not leaving any bubbles.
