I bought this for my barstools to protect my floor. It was very hard to apply and then it just kept falling off with usage. I had it on snug all the way around but as soon as someone sits on it, it will pop off the bottom. Also it is so sticky that pulling in and out the stools because difficult. I wanted something that would be good to protect the floor but this is not the product.
I had planned to use it for replacing the trim on some cabinet cubby openings in my truck camper. My wife opened the packaged and backed off right away stating that it stinks. No problem. I'll leave it outside in the sun for a few days. That didnt't work at all. I then washed it with soap and let it sit in diluted vinegar overnight. Nope. Last, I threw it in a large bucket with my little ozone machine that kills all odors. It is still unusable in a confined area. The whole camper stinks. Other than that, it looked great, conformed perfectly to the contours and had great grip on the 1/8" plywood openings. Too bad about the chemical odor. I can't use it.
Not what it was advertised in size. I bought 1/8 abs plastic to make my own switch panel and I was going to use this around the edge. Doesn't even come close to fitting on. I'll now have to make the panel out of 16 gauge steel. Too late for me to return it now. This or the plastic I bought.
I tryed to use this for automotive carpet edge trim although it worked it was very hard to pry it open to get the carpet in, there should be a tool or something to spread it open, landed breaking my finger nails to open, it better suited for ridged material like metal or wood OE fiberglass, 2 stars.
