Even my almost 4 year old could play this one. It isn’t always easy finding games both kids (4 &7) can play and enjoy. They love to slap the cards and the challenges encourage the younger to think about greater vs lesser numbers. Only downside may be how easy it is to slap first if you are the one putting the Smack It card down, especially if you’re slapping back in and only have a few cards before you hit Smack It again. Definitely for the 3-8 age range ... not sure if much older children would enjoy the simplicity of it.
Great game for young kids. As much as our grandson enjoys smacking the pile of cards, he’s also learning numbers! The package was delivered on time and the packaging was perfect-no tears, rips, or mangled. Helping to pass the time during this pandemic!
Kids love the game, but the Smack It cards are slightly and noticeably lighter than all the other cards. We had to switch the Challenge cards with the Smack It card to make it a fairer game. Seriously, we can't print the Smack It cards in the same hue as the other cards?!?!
Truly is a cross between the traditional card games of War and Slap Jack. All 3 of our boys - ages 15,13 and 8 have fun with it. The deck is small so the game goes too quick . We bought a 2nd set to make it more fun, but that's kind of spendy!
My eight year old loved this game! It was a pretty quick moving game. The only con would be just when you think you have most of the cards and you are going to win a smack it card pops up and then you’re back at square one...in this respect the game could go on for a bit of time like this. So she didn’t like this part but we had fun and a few laughs while playing. Also, seller customer service is excellent!
