I bought this comfy bed for my 10 lb Chihuahua/Toy Poodle mix to go in her crate for her to sleep on at night. It does have a washable cover but I've found what works best is to get an old pillowcase, cover the bed, and stick a puppy pee pad between the bed and pillow case for better absorption in case your pet has any accidents. Works great, and she's sleeping much more comfortably now with the memory foam.
Side note - This bed IS memory foam, BUT it's filled with memory foam CHUNKS - not a solid slab of memory foam. It's very affordable compared to other memory-foam beds which is why I opted to go with it. I'm glad I did.
The bed arrived very well packaged. It plumped up more then I expected within hours. Feeling it I was concerned that the sectioned / pocketed areas would not provide as much comfort as a bed with a more even surface. The dog took to it wonderfully though. It has been noticed that she is having better deeper sleeps. She seems more content and even in her mood. Its early to say how long this bed will last but everything seems good and reliable. I would purchase this again. Our dog is a doberman boxer large and muscular. I had some concern this bed in Large would not provide enough surface for her comfort. It does.
Initially, the bed was really hard because there is too much stuffing; however, I open the zipper and remove some of the stuffing and it fit better into the kennel and the dogs found him more comfortable.
I always put the interior padding into a plastic bag and seal it and then I put the exterior cover on dog beds. No idea why but my seven-year-old dog wet the bed the second night. I removed the cover and it washed up really well. Glad I had the plastic covering on the interior part!
This is a 2nd dog bed for my dog so I didn't want to spend $100 but I still wanted it to be cozy and thick for her. I am very happy with the quality of this. Its thick so she doesn't touch the ground while on it and its soft for her to lay on. One thing I will say is she is 40 pounds which usually a large will be fine for her but I find it a little small she cant fully get her whole body on it. other than that she enjoys it
Fits perfectly in my 28" Petmate Vari kennel. Super comfy. Sectioned internally so stuffing stays in place. Cover is durable, holding up so far to 3 mth old teething puppy. I wish cover was waterproof to survive pee accidents better.
My dogs like it and the size is adequate. You do have to shake it a little to keep it from being lumpy. I find it hard to clean as its somewhat staticky. The fabric isn’t very thick and my puppy bit a hole in the corner already since it’s thin..... Overall we’re happy with this bed.
Takes a little while for the memory foam to fill out, but the pooch loves it once it does. Only difficult thing is if the dog has an accident. You have to take out parts of the memory foam and wash it as it leaks through the outside cover and the cover that holds the foam. Would be 5 stars if the outer cover or the foam cover was water repellent or resistant.
Used this little bed for my Maltese and she loved it right away. It seems very comfy. Although the cover is removable for cleaning, I covered it with a soft fleece throw for extra warmth and this way it’s even easier to clean.
Product is well-made and looks like it will hold up. Unfortunately, my dog had a more traditional crate pad previously, and the Brindle bed is quite soft. My dog would sink into it and just couldn't get comfortable. I ended up replacing the old crate pad and will use the brindle bed for the cottage and road trips.
