Product came as described. Fits quite well. I have a small hand. I have used it with one wood burning tool and it protected quite well. I have 3 other tools with varying heats so further testing us required
Definitely protects your hands from the heat, has saved me from many burns already! My only complaint is that it’s a little on the thicker side, but I would prefer to deal with that, than a burnt hand!
I was a little surprised at the cost of quite a few of these curling iron gloves.
When I received these in the mail I was like “hmmmm.. this reminds me of a regular winter glove just a bit more heavy duty“
I have been burning my fingertips on my flat iron for a hot minute now & decided to try these gloves made for hot styling products.
It did not feel bulky or clunky. It did not get in the way of what I was trying to accomplish with my flat iron/short hair .
I will say the glove is very good for my brand of flat iron, but I cannot speak on those devices that get so hot they can cook food.
The price, getting two gloves, how the glove works under fire, has all been quite impressive.
I would definitely recommend this item. Especially if you are living with sisters, girlfriends, boyfriends, roommates, etc. that like to use hot styling devices & your protection glove always goes missing at the same exact time you need to get ready...
Two is better than one – in this situation. The glove does it’s job. The glove fits so we must not acquit!
This does the job when using heat styling tools. I use the glove with my curling wand because prior to I was constantly burning the tips of my fingers. It is heat resistant to a certain extent. I Definitely wouldn’t hold the styling tool’s metal component with this.
Very happy with the quality and material of this glove. The one that came with my curling wand and any I have found locally are made from a material that is "scratchy" for lack of a better term. The glove would stick to my hair and make it hard to separate the strands. It was also very stretchy and would sometimes end up getting rolled along with my hair. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it is quite large. The fingers are a good half inch longer than my own. I have very small hands and have been unable to find any glove that comes in size small.
For some reason, as I've gotten older, I've noticed that I seem to burn myself more often than I use to. When I found out about these gloves, I thought I would try one out. I thought it might be hard to style my hair, but it made no difference. Honestly, I can't tell the difference between these and the stretch gloves one may buy for winter. They are somewhat thick.., but not thicker than one might find in the outerwear section of a local department store. They would be too large for a small hand.. these were slightly big on my hands. I would have ordered a medium. This is a good quality glove.
