To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
My 7 year old grandaughter loves to be read to (even though she reads very well on her own). We cuddle up on the sofa after supper and her brothersquite often like to eavesdrop and we a chuckle or gasp or exclaim as events happen. We are just about start book 9 and are really sad that there are only ten books in the series.
Stella writes about herself, things she likes and what happens to her in notebooks. She uses "big" words but than explains them. The stories are mostly funny sometimes a little sad but always with happy endings.
My 8-year old granddaughter loves this series. She's a closet reader and that loves to read, but doesn't test well. She only reads books that peak her interest and this whole series does. Another series that "got to her" was the Mallory series. I find the two very similar so if your child likes one, go find the other.
