This is NOTHING like it is like it is shown as, even the description of instructions is WRONG. The hooks are nothing like is shown, they're flimsy, the net BARELY stretch the back of my SUV, it is NOT capable of the 3 options of use as it describes. It's a complete joke. It can only be used as show in the first picture. There is no way for it to just stretch out and be one wide net up and down (options 3), and there is absolutely no way for it to work as a net stretched over the top of things either (option 1). I hate this piece of garbage and returned it immediately.
Pictured 2010 Nissan Armada. We like it, but I wish it had platic or metal bars on the sides that would allow it to be more flush with the walls of the vehicle on the sides. Also the included instructions are insufficient at best. Other than that it's fine.
The cargo net is very nice and good quality, but the kit to attach it to the car is junk. My 2011 Ford Fusion doesn't have any hooks or holes inside the trunk for the net to attach onto so I had to use the screws and plastic holders that come the kit. The screws only drill into the fabric lining the trunk so when you put anything with weight in the net, the screws rip out of the lining and leave a hole. I'm able to put funnels in the net, but when I put my jumper cables in it, the screws come out. I would not recommend this to anyone who doesn't have built in hooks to attach it to.
Ok, so I am guilty once again of believing Amazon that this would fit my '07 4Runner, it DOES NOT, not even close. It is 35" across, I need one that is more than a foot wider. So don't be like John, go out there and measure your car and see what size you need. It doesn't appear to stretch much, it just gets narrower as you stretch it. That said, it appears to be a good quality item and is packaged neatly enough to pass for a gift wrap. I plan to see if these will work for my mom's CRV and/or my uncle's RAV 4. (I bought two, but it doesn't fit wifey's 2016 either...) It certainly doesn't appear that I'll need super detailed instructions as some have complained for...it's pretty straightforward.
We needed a net to hang on the wall of our van to keep a few things organized and this works perfect. We didn't use the hard ware that came with it because we didn't want to permanently fix to the structure, so we hung it with removable 3M hooks. Works great!
No instructions. It's too long for the 2013 Corolla so I had to install it in the middle of the trunk which wasn't a problem. It works great in the middle of the trunk. There was nothing for me to attach the bottom to, but so far it's not a problem and I don't hear anything sliding around back there. I had to waste a ton of time on the internet looking up how to install a cargo net. They should provide a paper with the cargo net or at least post a video online.
