I had a digital kitchen scale bought elsewhere and it sucked, so I went looking for something more reliable that would work on any surface and not eat never-in-stock-in-my-house watch batteries. I consulted Wirecutter reviews and found that, though their top pick isn't available from Amazon AU locally, this scale is very similar to that top pick in all ways, so I took a chance and ordered it. It's accurate, does not eat batteries, works on metal and wood surfaces, and has solid buttons. Great find at this price!
To put it simply, it does what it's suppose to do and it was a good price in comparison to others I've bought or seen. I like that it takes the AAA batteries rather than the special round batteries, small things but still a plus for me. It's plastic so I would try to avoid dropping it as I don't know how strong it would be, but that also does make it very light. Overall if your in need of something to meal prep, bake or just measure stuff, it's good to go.
Positive button action. I especially like the fact that it doesn’t turn off after a short time. When you zero the tare and start loading the container up, the last thing you want is for it turn off while you take time in the action. It is simple and easy to use.
Previously had some kitchen scales which had a touch interface and would find it unreliable. This one has buttons and it separates the buttons from the scale. Couldn't be happier with how easy it is to use this.
I use this product for weighing food when I'm cooking. It's easy to use and accurate, it doesn't take up a lot of space and is easy to clean. I also received it within a few days of ordering, well before the estimated delivery date. I highly recommend this product.
