To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
This is better than the two Chinese-designed alternatives I bought, but it still isn't good enough.
I bought this primarily to send audio and video from a Windows 10 laptop to a non-smart TV. It did that, but there were frequent interruptions, hang-ups and interruptions. It would often freeze the image, and when it did play, the stream would devolve into laggy, irritating pixelations. It's better than the cheaper Chinese imports that promise the same, but ultimately they're all a waste of time and money. I couldn't connect on Android at all.
For me, this didn't work, either in Windows or on Android. I hope it works better for you.
This is a seemingly simplistic item to use however when in hand this proved otherwise for me. The adapter relies on a WiFi connection from both parties, the party you want to transmit the screen from and also the receiving display. It was problematic trying to configure this with an Ethernet wired PC, which of course is quite common and is something you would have thought Microsoft would have considered. I purchased the item as I cannot wire a HDMi from my PC to my TV. I thought that this would be a suitable replacement however that turned out to be not. I have heard that it is virtually useless for anything other than simple work such as word processors anyway. For video it will lag and play up.
I bought one of these so that I could be more mobile when delivering lessons than when connected to my display directly, and it has been terrible since day one. Constant disconnects every five minutes or so, something I never had when connected via a cable, and no solution I have found online has worked, including updating to the latest firmware. Not fit for purpose
