To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Being a diabetic for 15 years and always using BD pen needles at close to $40 per box, I had to cut costs and saw these pen needles here on Amazon. I had no idea that pen needles could cost so little, so I ordered 2 boxes of a similar brand that was just a little bit less than these. They were terrible! Several of them didn't even have holes in the pen needles for the insulin to be dispensed through. Then I saw Care Touch Insulin Pen Needles and tried them out. They're the best I've ever used! They cause no pain at all and I'll never buy any other brand of pen needles again. Give them a try. I'm so glad I did!
Perfectly attached to my Lantus insulin pen. My previous needles were slightly larger and thicker at 31G x 5/16 purchased at a grocery store at twice the price. These don't go into the flesh nearly as far and are more comfortable. The expiration on my batch is 2021.
If you’ve ever used a poor quality needle to inject insulin, you’ll understand the wince from the pain at the injection site. Through the years, I have purchased the most expensive to the least expensive, longer and shorter, thicker and thinner, however; none of these seemed to work until I discovered the Care Touch Pen Needles. Though I was initially sceptical about the product’s quality considering they are much less expensive for a quantity of 100 than I have purchased before, they are great! I don’t know why someone would spend 50-75% more for the same product elsewhere.
I have been using Novofine 32G 6mm needles for over 2 years. I had little bruises all over my belly. The last batch I ordered from Amazon said 32G in the ad, but what I got was 31G, so I sent them back. I switched to Care Touch 32G 5mm needles, and I am so glad I did! The bruising is gone, and they hardly ever hurt. Partly it's because they're 1mm shorter, but I think mostly they're just sharper. I was so worried about using a different brand, but I'm glad I did.
Disposable needles are available from many companies, but I like these for two main reasons: 1) they absolutely fit and remove very easily 2) I have never felt one of them going in for my daily insulin injections.
I might use words like "foolproof" and the like, but there will always be some fool who can't master a simple thing like a straight-in jab. So, I will satisfy myself with this:
I'm a T1D on MDI and these work great for both my basal and bolus. I've gone through hundreds (if not more) and each needle has been sharp and fit my pens exactly. It's easier to get these off Amazon versus insurance/pharmacy, and the price is the same or better. Great value for the price.
I ordered these to use with my Victoza pen. The work just fine. the screw on and off just like the sample name brand ones from the doctors office. And the price was great. I didn't notice any difference when using the needles.
Ideal for me ! The bore doesn't squeeze (aerate, oxygenate) the product, and it's very comfortable to use. Sad to mention this, but most of the negative revues are becuz the user does not practice using the needle 'bevel up ', and with patience.
The only negative is that this product typically is shipped in a padded envelope or pouch.
The box is sturdy enough for storage on your shelf but is not strong enough for shipping. It would be better if this product is shipped in a small cardboard box that will stand up to the abuse typically received during shipping.
