I purchased these microphones to use for vocal amplification with a small singing group I belong to. We've use them at several rehearsals and performances and they worked perfectly with the Bose amplifier/speaker system we use. The microphones are well made and came in a carrying case with rain cover, complete with cables and microphone clips exactly as described in the Amazon listing. I am considering purchasing another three units based on my experience with the first set.
They really do come with all that stuff! The case is great it all fits nicely. Cords are thick but soft and easy to manage. The kids trying to do karaoke sound a lot less annoying than when they were using the stock mic that came with their karaoke machine. We purchased little foam (windscreen) covers separately to protect and keep them clean. And voila perfect fit. I look forward to shopping for other pyle products in the future! If 3 is more mics than you need: grab some friends and jam!
I have 2 mics setup and connected to my speaker. The speaker has 2 input ports. One for XLR connection and one 1/4 pin on the single channel. So I have one mic connected via XLR and the other via 1/4 pin.
I'm having an issue with the mics. In order for any mic to stay on, I have to switch both mics to the "on" position. If I set the switch to "off" on one mic, the other one stops working. I dont see why I need to have both mics in the on position if I am only using one.
They sound incredible for the price. Three mics, clips and cables for $50! When it comes to dynamic mics for live vocals, I prefer Shure beta 58 for clarity on my own voice. I also have two SM58s for guest vocalists, but I bought this kit in case more people wanted to sing. I only hear a minor difference between these Pyles and an SM58, which I do find a little muddy.
Awesome mic set.. these are cast not plastic and have a really nice weight to them.. I'm not a singer but the sound was very clear and fat.. I liked it .. I use one mostly for miking my guitar amp and it's great for that as well. Great buy I'm going to buy the drum mic set next.
l don't know how anyone could complain,l've performed numerous years and decided to try these, they are built heavy duty with a clear sound,l put my amp up to 3/4 volume, put the mic 2 inches from it without a trace of feedback, these are great mic's,this has got to be the best deal out there!
I bought this just to have some fun with family and friends. The quality is great. Sounds very professional to me, but I'm not a specialist. It comes with two carrying bags. One soft and one hard, and also very long cables. Totally recommend.
These mic’s blew me away when I plugged them in. I just need them for sporadic speaking at events, but I cranked out some karaoke on YouTube through my PA and the mic quality, for that price, was mind blowing. I have plenty of Shure mic’s and always use a Beta when I sing, but I would trust these in a pinch. In my experience, I would like to add, that the more power your PA rig has, the better a cheap mic will sound. A cheap mic sounds horrible through a portable 200 watt PA system type rig.
This is a pretty decent microphone set. Good value for money. They work well for our boardroom setup. One of the three mic cables was not working (wire solder had disconnected) but I should be able to repair it. Easier to do that then to return and replace the whole kit.
