I don't know what the deal is with these. They seemed to function properly when I tugged on the line and the sound went off fine so I thought I was all set. Never seemed to ever get any bites while I was using them so figured that was the case. That is until one day I had it set up on a pole and saw the end of the pole jiggling up and down yet no sound came out if it whatsoever. I double checked and tugged on the line a little (after I losing the fish) and the sound went off so I don't know what the deal is but I went back the ol' bell
Not sure how people are using this but I can’t seem to get the chirping right. My fishing line is taught and it is making it chirp.. the only way to get it from not chirping is keep the line very slack which is not the right way to fish for stripers and sturgeon. The noise is loud but I wish it was not a loud or high pitch. I want to hold onto this for the kids but not sure how it’s going to work
