To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
This was my first book I've read on meditation and I found it very informative! It was very easy to understand! I will read again and tell my family and friends to read. Thank you so much for this opportunity to understand more about authentic presence and the ego. At the end of the book it also has a free offer for Yoga. I clicked on it and filled in my email address and name. When I went to my email account there wasn't anything in it. Maybe I have to wait for tomorrow to get the link.
This would of been more useful had I not read tons of other material on meditation, I like the explanations in this book a lot, it’s nice to get a different perspective on revisited material from time to time especially on subjects like meditation and mindfulness. It’s hard to explain a lot of this stuff as it’s more or so something that has to be experienced to really get it. Well written and good analysis.
Helpful - the author addresses some of the spirituality behind the ideas; but does not get into a debate about what belief is the right way of dealing with faith. Deals simply with need and practical way to start and head on journey to a more satisfying way ..
As with others works that Tai has written this one follows in very similar footsteps. This book provides a short, sweet and practical review of meditation why its useful and how one benefits from its practice. Anyone who is interested in delving more into the rationale behind meditation then this is the place to start.
