Dry Wipes and Seal Coming Off

PROS:
1. The light is nice and I like how it turns off with the timer.
2. There is nothing you need to insert to keep the wipes moist. One less thing to remember.

CONS:
1. It didn't take long to discover the wipes on top were dry every time we used them. We only used the wipes warmer at night, so maybe the wipes sitting all day without use is too long?
2. After 6 months of primarily nighttime use, the rubber "seal" (which already didn't seal enough to keep the top wipes moist...see point #1), started tearing off.

I was going to give a 3 rating, but considering it's coming apart already, I couldn't recommend this product to anyone.

Fits a lot if wipes but it doesn't warm up well

I've been using the wipe warmer for 2 months now, this was a replacement for an old one I used for almost 3 years (different brand). I am a bit disappointed with the product and I would definitely not recommend. The one thing I like is that I am able to fit en entire bag of Costco brand wipes in it, I have to force it a little bit, but I can fit them all. What I don't like is
1. The locking system kind of sucks when I just restock and it's full, i feel like im going to break it.
2. And this is the biggest disappointment, it doesn't warm up as good as other brands. The wipes feel warm when pulled put of the warmer, but the temperature is very low, almost cold. By the time the wipe reaches my babies butt, the wipe is already cold.
I feel like it's almost pointless to have this since my baby still complains the wipe is cold, specially in the morning.
I definitely do not recommend it, and I will not be pursuing again.

Crappy dispenser

I had another wipe warmer that I liked, but after several years it stopped working well. I decided to get a new one when I got pregnant this time around, and went with this one because of the great reviews. I also bought my sister this one for her baby. She ended up sending it back, saying it just wasn't helpful. After using it myself, I know that she really meant it's crappy. It only heats from the top, which means only the few top wipes after you fill it get warm. And it doesn't fit that many wipes. You end up opening a pack and having to divide them because at least a third won't fit. Then the top has this ridiculous little hole for a dispenser that the wipes get stuck in all the time. This is not fun to fight when your baby is screaming while you're changing them in the middle of the night.
Over all, in not a fan. If I could send it back, I would. But since I bought it when I was still pregnant, I'm way past the return limit. I would advise others to find something different.

Barely acceptable

I had a munchkin warmer first that worked like a dream, nice warm wipes that were never dried out. But that one quit after 6 months and just started scorching all of our wipes so I decided to replace it with another brand and bought this hiccapop one. It's crap. I wish I had spent my $25 on another brand or just bought another munchkin, the top wipe is ALWAYS dried out and must be thrown away (even when you follow the instruction to add 1/4 cup water), adding a 1/4 cup water waters down the wipes and they don't clean as well and last but not least the wipes are barely warmed! When they say that their products "takes the chill out" they really mean that, these wipes come out at 72 ish degrees, not as shocking as a cold wipe but not as nice and the wonderfully warm wipes the munchkin produced. I'll be buying the munchkin again next time, even if it only lasts 6 months at least it's a good warmer for that amount of time.

This warmer is better than my previous warmer. I used to think the pad in the bottom was so nasty. I’m so glad this warmer doesn’t use a pad to heat. It’s great that it heats from the top.

Warmer is only 7 months old and the rubber piece at the top has fallen off. Without this, I find the wipes dry out a lot faster and don’t stay as warm. I know thing wear out over time but I expected it to at least last a year.

This wipes warmer worked amazingly at first which was why we bought two. But now, about a month after purchasing, both warmers have torn the dispenser flaps. this impedes the accordion folding of the wipes so now they don't come up connected. In a blow out situation (or any big poop situation) we want the fastest access we can get to our wipes. This makes us reach down into the resovoir each time we need a new one, which costs us a lot of time, especially at night in low light. I'm really surprised and confused at how they tore because we haven't been especially rough with handling them. It must just be poor manufacturing...and at a relatively expensive price I'd expect it to last way longer.

Two stars given for the function of the rest of the product, it works perfectly (for now).

Lacks its main function!!!

It’s useful when it works however it doesn’t always keep the wipes warm. I understand you have to keep the warmer full in order to have warm wipes “at the top only”, but the warmer lacks it’s one function; to warm no matter how full or low the wipes are. Another thing, the wipes immediately turn cold once removed from the warmer so it’s pointless to even have the warmer.

Lacks essential features

Works as described - heats wipes to a good temperature for babies’ skin. The device has several problems that make it difficult to use:
1. When you pull out a wipe, 3/4 of the next wipe is exposed to the cold air. You have to push the next wipe back in so that it doesn’t become cold by the time you need to use it.
2. The lid should be spring loaded to close automatically. I have to open the lid carefully so that it doesn’t slam against the wall behind the changing table and make a loud bang sound that startles my baby.
3. The lid should have a rubber bumper on the bottom so that it doesn’t make the loud banging sound when it is closed. The loud sound startles my baby every time, so I have to be very careful to close the lid gently.

Add a rubber bumper on the bottom of the lid, and spring load the lid to close automatically, and this would be a 5-star product.

Don't waste your money

I bought thinking my newborn could not handle a cold wet wipe and also in order to weigh down the wipe packet to make them easier to dispense. First of all, the cold wipe is a false problem. I quickly realized that if I scrunched up the wipe in my hand for even a few seconds, it made it warmer. Second negative, this thing requires a plug! I genuinely believe that if this were battery operated, I might have kept it. (I understand why it can't really be battery operated because of the heating element, but one can dream). Third negative, it locks you into 1 brand and kind of wipe. This only works with Self-feeding wipes and they tell you which ones to buy. Fourth negative, the size. I chose a small changing table and because I just moved, I don't have a shelf or dresser set up near that changing area. This thing takes up so much room on the changing table there is barely enough room for baby!
I returned this purchase but I can see how this may work for some. I usually like unnecessary gadgets, but this is not one of them.

Wipes not warm enough

Based on the rating i tried hiccapop baby warmer, but the wipes were not warm enough. The moment i took it out to wipe my baby, in 3-4 seconds the wipe used to become cold. I do not recommend.
I am not sure which wipes warmer is the best but i tried another brand gogo wipes warmer, it is not good but was comparatively better than hiccapop. Those wipes were warmer for may be around 6-7 seconds. Whatever wipes warmer brand you take make sure to close the lid properly or else the wipes will become completely dry.
