Lovely design and great for children to learn and explore world map while at the dinner table. However after having it just over a month the print is wearing off after being handwashed. Would not recommend due to the product not lasting long. Just missed the one month return policy. Very disappointed with the longevity of the product as the graphic image is lovely and enticing for children but not worth the money for one month's use! Would have given it no stars if possible.
I have to return a bunch of world map placemats that were shipped instead of 4 Periodic Table Placemats that were ordered. I like the 2 World Map and 1 each Multiplication and Letter Placemats, they seem well designed and educational. But it costs everyone time and I Guess the company money (particularly with shipping "across Both the Pond and the Continent between Oregon and England) when by accident NO Periodic table and Too Many World Map placemats were sent!
This is our favourite placemat - very educational and cleans/wipes well with very virtually no fading after a few months of daily use. Highly recommend. We like to read the table daily and see what other items are made from the elements. It's so lovely and colourful as well that it catches the kids eyes. The quality is brilliant. It's our favourite and most durable of the 4 placemats which we bought (1 of which will be replaced soon sadly)
I was looking for a simple child's introduction to the periodic table, which this certainly is, and that it's a placemat is a very nice touch. I could make some quibble about not having atomic weight, but something had to be lost for it to remain simple.
My little girl loves this. It is bright and she loves the little pictures that go with each larger country. At 3 years old she can point where she lives (uk) and Australia and where Donald Trump lives. We don’t use it as a placemat but have been able to wipe off anything that has got on it
Great periodic table. Like the words associated with the element and the different colours separating each section. Trying to help my son to understand atoms, molecules etc, thought this might help. Only problem is, sometimes he says the object, ‘coins’ instead of the element ‘ nickel!’ I’m sure he will get better - word association is a good idea.
Excellent product. I was excited more than my kids were. High quality print, bright colors, clear pictures. It looks good on the wall (I know it's supposed to be on the desk, but I like it on the wall).
