I've always wanted one of these. Finally I splurged since I'm pregnant and maybe it could be a baby light.
It is bright! I can't imagine anyone sleeping with that amount of light but I suppose I'm not a wee person scared of the dark. If there's other light in the hoise, I like the changing colors and I like the warm white light. Otherwise, this is too bright for me.
The cat is freakingly floppy when you pick it up and move it somewhere else. Plus, it weirds me out that you tap on the floppy cat to change the color. I have it on my remote teaching table now and when I set down a mug, put down a notebook, etc., the lamp thinks I want a different setting.
The battery life is okay but it would be more convenient if the lamp was a plug in so I don't have to deal with USB.
I'm glad I bought it so now I know what it's like. I wouldn't buy it again. I'll likely replace this with a "real" plug in dimmer lamp before baby arrives. Maybe I'll bring it to school when we go back and give it to a kid.
I’m super disappointed in this lamp. I bought two of them. They are so touch sensitive that they are always changing or shutting off at the slightest vibration. It’s distracting because I bought them to help my kids sleep at night. Right now they spend too much time being upset that it’s always shutting off. The plug is also in a bad spot, it won’t sit upright to be charged. It wouldn’t be such a big deal except it seems to need charging often.
My granddaughter has a product similar to this one. So I bought two, one for my house and one for a friends for her son. The bottom keeps coming off which then makes the top deflate, it takes quite a bit of work to get it back into shape. My granddaughters has no issues like this one.
Super flimsy plastic. If you pick it up it squishes. The tapping mechanism to turn it on and off is .... off kilter. It’s looks great when lit, but the other issues keep me from loving it. It’s more of a pain than a pleasure.
It worked well for about 6 months, now it has a hard time charging and doesn't stay on at night, even when it's plugged in. My daughter wakes up scared because the light has randomly gone off in the middle of the night.
