Muy cómodo para dormir en el embarazo y de excelente tamaño ya que no ocupa toda la cama como el resto de los cojines que existen en el mercado, además no es ni muy duro ni muy suave por lo que es súper cómodo
I bought this pillow when I was only 20 weeks along. At first I thought it was a waste of money because it didn't help me sleep any more than I already had been at that point and I eventually stopped using it. I'm now 30 weeks and it has turned into a godsend. Around 28 weeks I started having very bad hip/sciatic nerve pain and I couldn't get comfortable to even sleep a couple hours. I decided to give this pillow a try again and it works amazingly! I can't go a night without it now. It has just enough cushion to ease my hip/sciatic nerve pain and it supports my bump so I don't have any pain coming from that angle either. I still don't sleep a full night, but it's way more than if I didn't have the pillow at all. The fabric is very soft, cool, and breathable. My husband and I are only in a full sized bed so this is the perfect size so that I don't end up pushing him out of bed at night. My only complaint and why I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is the filling where I routinely put it in between my legs is starting to flatten, I may have to stuff it more in the future. Other than that small detail I am so happy I bought this.
This pillow has been a savior for me during my pregnancy! I didn't like the large pregnancy pillows that wrap around the whole body as I felt they were very overwhelming and hard to flip from side to side in middle of the night without waking up the whole neighborhood. I decided to try this pillow and it has worked so well! I change sides a million times every night and it is so much easier to flip over in the middle of the night without getting tangled in blankets and a giant pregnancy pillow. I also like being able to place this pillow in different areas that I feel I need a little extra support!
So this is the 3rd pregnancy pillow I have tried and have been desperate to find a good one. My hips have absolutely been killing me and I toss and turn all night. The first pillow was an all body pillow that was a big u-shape. It was pretty comfortable but HUGE and it was a pain at night to move the whole thing the way I wanted. Plus I couldnt use my own head pillow and that didnt work for me. The next pillow was a one sided body pillow with a wedge attached to the end for belly support. It was really long and again was a pain to flip with me each time I turned. Plus the wedge was pretty firm and put too much pressure on my tummy. I would also wake up with hip pain with both of these. FINALLY I decided to try the boppy since I've heard so many people recommend it. I was skeptical at first because the reviews were not the best. HOWEVER, I am so glad I tried! This is the first pillow that I have slept with where I wake up with no hip pain! I love that it is mid size so can easily flip with me at night if I need to roll over. Plus with the difference in the shapes on each side, there are so many way to use it. So glad I bought it! Why 4 stars then? Well...I've noticed after a month of use it has really started to flatten which I was worried about due to the kind of stuffing it has. This is a but disappointing and I am worried about its longevity. I think I am going to try putting it in the dryer to see if it will "re-fluff" it. Worse case scenario, I may open up the stitching a bit and add in some of my own pillow filling. With that being said, I still think this is the best pillow I have tried this far and will be keeping it! The cover also unzips and everything is washable which is a huge plus.
I LOVE this pillow! I bought it to use during my second trimester after desperately trying to find something that would allow me to sleep comfortably with my growing belly. I have a queen sized mattress and this was the only pregnancy pillow that 1) didn’t take up majority of the bed where my poor husband was forced to only have an inch of space on his side 2) not super firm where my body (aka neck and back) was aching after a night of using it 3) didn’t make me super sweaty like other pillows. SO WHY ONLY 3 STARS?? I’ve had this pillow for a little over a year and it is soooo lumpy and flat! For the price, I expected it to hold it’s shape a little longer. Im seriously so bummed about it! I’m currently still using this pillow ONLY because I can’t justify spending another $40 for the exact same pillow (hey! babies are already expensive to begin with!) .... you feel me?! I’m even tempted to open up the pillow and restuffing it myself. If you don’t mind this pillow lasting for less than a year or so ... I would definite give this pillow a try! I know it kinda feels like Goldie Locks and the three bears when it comes to finding the perfect pillow so I wish you good luck!
My son was in the NICU after being born and I first tried this pillow while in the hospital. I loves it!! I love that it’s a larger pillow than the average Boppy. It’s comfortable to breastfeed and wraps around your entire waist. The pillow is nicely stuffed, soft , and has a luxurious feel to it. It comes with a beautiful cover that is easily removed if you would like to wash it. I placed an additional pillow cover to protect it. Nothing on the package said nursing pillow, but it’s the best one out there. Prior to this pillow I purchased another one similar to the popular small Boppy pillows and it was cheaply made, too small, and the stuffing was extemely hard and uncomfortable. Better to buy this one instead. Worth every penny. I love this pillow!!! This is the best nirsing pillow and the price is terriffic!!!I promose you won’t be dissapointed.
For me personally, this was not the ideal maternity pillow for me to use while sleeping at night. It's great that it has a cover that you can wash, but the pillow itself is pretty wimpy and will smash down quickly, and without too much effort. It is soft, but it compresses too easily for my needs. I never figured out a good way to use it that effectively at night (maybe for naps would be fine). I ended up the
Boppy Bump and Back Geo Circles Pregnancy Support Pillow, White/Gray
, and that worked out much better for me, in addition to a firm knee-separator pillow that I already had.
I never used this pillow for my head or face--and during pregnancy, it wasn't working as something I could curl up around comfortably, because it seemed to require sort of a compact fetal position that didn't feel good while pregnant. Probably the most effective way I used it was to hug and support may back when lying on my side, in which case I still needed something under my midsection on the other side. But when doing that, it definitely doesn't work for separating your knees more than a couple of inches, because the pillow is so soft and gets smashed. I recommend a firm foam knee pillow for that purpose.
I tried using this a number of ways but really didn't find the ideal way, for nighttime sleeping. It was too bad, because it was not a cheap pillow. You also have to be ready to reposition this as you turn over at night, and that might work all right if you have it between your knees and can just flip over.
On the upside, this pillow was a lot more compact than many of the maternity and body pillows that have good reviews, and it was cheaper than some of the larger ones. For people sleeping with covers in their bed and/or perhaps a partner, the smaller size helps.
This new version is awful! Don’t waste your money! I had the older one for a very long time and thought I’d treat myself to a new one. BIG mistake. It didn’t last more than a week. It seems like a pillow that I could’ve made in middle school home ec. I can’t tell if it doesn’t have enough filling (likely), or if the filling is of such low quality that it is already compressed to uncomfortable levels. This pillow is meant to be kind of kidney shaped and supportive for sleeping. After a few days, it was flat in the middle. No amount of adjusting has been able to fix it. The only thing good about this pillow is the cute cover.
I bought this pretty early in my pregnancy (like 6 weeks or so) as I'd already needed a pillow between my legs for my knees and then almost immediately when I found out I was pregnant I could feel the need for belly support and using the little couch cushion sucked having to turn it when I rolled over and it would Just slide out. Just after I got it I found out I was having twins which is why I needed support already as I'd had a messed up c-section with my daughter so my lower abdominal muscles were totally painful immediately plus I have a disease where my tendons and ligaments are messed up so I had no internal support from day 1.
Being able to turn with this pillow and have it stay both between my legs and belly were immediately a godsend and sleeping was no longer super painful!! Love how it's super soft and the cover can come off to be washed! I'm 25 weeks now and have used it every single night since I received it.
Literally only complaint is there isn't much stuffing in the belly part. I keep forgetting but when I finally do remember I'll be picking up a bag of fluff to stuff the belly part up a bit more! Still I love how its small (even though we have a cali king bed so size wasn't a big deal) and absolutely LOVE how It moves with me at night when I roll over and stays comfortable without needing to be adjusted except to replace it if I get up to pee a million times! I fell back to sleep one night without putting the pillow back in place and even after just a few hours of sleeping without it I was in pain for days!
As I said its perfect in every way, just needs a bit more stuffing in the belly portion.
As I'm only 25 weeks with the twins and already my belly is larger than when I had my daughter (at least I know this would still be the best pillow ever full term with one baby! Lol) so we shall see how things go as I get even bigger and bigger! I just know without the pillow I doubt I'd be able to function during the day starting from like 8 weeks on between my disease and botched c-section messing up my internal belly support!!
