My hand is 3.5 inches wide at the bottom of my palm and 3 inches wide at the top of the palm. My palm is 3.5 inches tall and my middle finger are 2.75 inches long. My thumb is 2 inches long. These gloves fit me very well. They are stretchy enough for almost anyone to use depending on the desired use. I used them for burn care after I burned the heck out of hand. I snipped the tips off of all the fingers so I could type and continue to do my job as a front desk clerk at a medical facility where germs are a real concern. I slathered on the burn cream and then had someone hold the glove open while I carefully put my hand into the glove. This worked great. The gloves are comfortable and clean. I had little fear of any contaminates being on the gloves as they came in a sealed (resealable) bag.
Cheap, but work. fit is about what you'd expect for the price - okay. sort of bunch up at places. A few with small holes/ threads sticking out ... functional, just not put together lovingly by proud craftsmen. Not overly durable, but for the price, I didn't expect much.
I use these for working with photos -when framing and mating - so I don't get oils/smudges/fingerprints on the pic. They work for that. They are not up to speed to be used for any kind of dress or costume use IMHO as they are obviously slapped together as fast and cheap as they can. Function >> asthetics.
What can I say? They are cheap white cloth gloves. They serve my purpose well but I couldn't quite give something 5 stars when it looked pretty rough so don't take 4 stars as bad ... if you don't expect much in terms of looks, and you just want something to keep oils/prints off of something, you will likely be very happy with these. i would buy them again for what I use the or.
I was very happy to receive this product in light of the current corona-virus situation. It did arrive pretty fast, which was nice. However, I went to put on a glove and my fingers slid right through the fabric (and I didn't put any effort into putting the gloves on - the fabric is obviously cheaply/poorly made). In most of my gloves, there are lines where fibers of the fabric are missing (like when you pull a loose thread out of a piece of fabric and it leaves a lighter area). There are multiple lines in most of the gloves. I am keeping the gloves because I can still use them a few times (washing between use) before they are completely ruined and I wanted SOMETHING to protect my hands. But really, if I had a choice between these gloves or disposable, I think I'd prefer disposable!
These gloves are so thin and sheer they might as well be completely porous. You can actually see your skin through them. While they may be functional for very short term handling of 100% dry objects and materials, they will positively allow moisture, fine dust, or dirt, into, and, out of, your hands, in every other instance. Very impractical and cheaply made. Virtually zero barrier to external handling. Returning.
I bought these gloves to put on when I would cream my hands and did not want to touch things for a while. They have just the right amount of stretch and feel good. I have not experienced loose strings as others reported. They wash well in a laundry bag and I hang them to dry. They fit my needs well and like the amount so I can wash them after a week and still have more to use. I have bought other brands at Dollar Stores and they can be tight. They are great and fit my needs!
I use these to handle my scale models after paint and polish. Before, I was using loose cloths to avoid getting fingerprints on the finish, but was always snagging fine details.
These fix that problem perfectly. They slip on easily (I have quite large hands) and are tactile enough for me to handle delicate items with confidence. I now also use them to handle my armor and aircraft kits, even though they are not as susceptible to showing prints.
I make yard art out of copper. When moving into the finishing stage i try my best to minimize contaminating the copper surface with finger prints and oils. These gloves are great for that. Stretch comfortably and conform to my larger hands and seem to stand up to routine processes that go into handling metal during final finishing. Was pleased to find that they can withstand cold water washing and a line-dry and be reused. These are not 'work' gloves. Their purpose is to minimize contamination of a clean/surface sensitive item.
