It's a good shampoo that lathers really easily and my hair feels great after it's been washed. Sometimes these sulphate free shampoos can fail to get the grease out but this one's great. I've marked down because of the smell, it has quite a medicinal smell to it which I'm not a fan of.
Pureology does appear to be a premier brand with high quality products.
This sheer shampoo worked a treat on my fine hair. The shampoo lathers really easily and rinses our quickly. I found I only needed a small amount of shampoo to get a luxurious lather in our soft water area.
The shampoo smells divine and not at all artificial.
My hair was left feeling squeaky clean, light and bouncy.
£12.99 is the current price on amazon however the RRP is £19.99 which I wouldn’t be prepared to pay as only a small bottle.
4 stars from me - I dropped a star because of the recommended price.
Love this shampoo and conditioner! My hair stylist recommended this for my hair - which is dry, highlighted and thin! This does Not dull highlights and does not weigh hair down! It helps hydrate and gives some volume. A little does a long way - it doesn’t take much of the product at all. The smell reminds me of the scent in a spa - it’s a light scent but is a tad bit medicine-smelling. I like it because it’s not overpowering! This product is a little pricey, but I recommend it!
I love this shampoo! definitely fits the description, lightweight feel but no silicone. I just wish i knew how STROng the smell was before i bought it haha its like, full on hippy....patchouli or something haha!
4.0 out of 5 starsSmells amazing! But expensive shampoo....

What I love the best about this Pureology Hydrate Sheer shampoo is the scent. Spicy - a hint of cloves - really just a great scent that reminds me of products I use from Aveda, which also has those spicy tones to their product-scents. I immediately wanted to purchase some conditioner with the hope it smells the same—for the price, I’d likely try the travel size and make it last.
The shampoo is a creamy white. Goes on smoothly and lathers but not overly so. It didn’t take much for my collar-bone length hair.
My hair came out soft and shiny. My wet-brush smoothed through it easily, and I have super baby fine hair that tangles.
The only thing about this shampoo that makes me hesitate to purchase more is the price. This is 8.5 ounces for just over $29–ouch! I can purchase Aveda, which is really good stuff, for less than that. I feel a little insulted that they charge so much for shampoo. As much as I love it and the scent of it, I’d likely buy Aveda before I’d spend near $30 on a shampoo or conditioner. It would have to do miracles on my hair and I’m not sure what that miracle would be.
Though too expensive for me personally, it’s still a good shampoo that smells amazing. If you can afford it, give it a try.
