I don't know what the fuss is about Oribe. This is the second product I've purchased and have disliked. This cream is too heavy, even for my thick hair. I used it sparingly and my hair still felt like it had product in it. It didn't make my blowout any smoother or longer lasting, but the opposite. It didn't smooth as well as Kerastase Keratine Thermique which I love. So why did I try Oribe? Because the smell is fantastic! But the scent doesn't last on my hair once dried, nor did it work as well as Kerastase. I've put this in the guest bathroom and am back to Kerastase.
2.0 out of 5 starsOribe makes good products, but this one doesn't perform as well as far less expensive products

Oribe makes good hair care products, especially for those of us with wavy or curly hair. However, given the price and performance of this product, it's neither a great value or an exceptional product. I've used similar products that performed at least the same, if not better. So this is not a good value.
Again, this has a light fragrance (like some other Oribe products) that I really do not like. However, I tried it a couple of times.
One thing I've noted: You have to be careful how much you apply. Too much and your hair will be greasy. Too little and you may not see any improvement in either shine or strength of hair after blowing dry.
The cream is a bit too thick for my taste. I would prefer a lighter weight product.
In consistency, it reminds me of some hand and body creams (I actually put it on my one hand just to see how it felt. It seemed better suited to hand softening than hair straightening!
Although I was given this to test for free, I have to note that the price seems very high given both its size and performance.
