I’m still very early in my pregnancy, 6 weeks, but I’ve been having extreme lower back pain. Feels like my spine is ripping down the center. So I was really hoping this would provide some relief. I’ve worn it two days and it’s helped some, but I’m still in a lot of pain. Since I’m still early, and not big, there’s a lot of overlap with the belt and the flap kind of gets uncomfortable, so I have to readjust if I’m moving around a lot. It does provide a lot of comfort, and I’m happy with the purchase.
I’ve given three stars for now, but will update if it continues to improve. It might just be that it’s not ideal for early pregnancy.
Early in my pregnancy I was having issues every time I stood up with round ligament pain (unusual for being so early). I ordered this looking for extra support. It is pretty heavy duty and does offer support, but due to it being so thick isn't super comfortable in and of itself. Also could never be worn under clothes without being very visible/ obvious. I was expecting this to be something I used daily, and have probably only used about twice because it's more comfortable for me to just reposition. I'm 26 weeks right now, ordered around 9 weeks. Maybe it will be useful again towards the end of pregnancy.
I'm currently 34 weeks pregnant with twins and carrying low. I've had this for about 2 weeks. I found that when walking/standing it offers great support. It will sometimes fall down and need to be adjusted depending on what fabric I'm wearing underneath of the belt. When sitting it is extremely uncomfortable it bunches up underneath my belly and pinches. I take it off while sitting. This means when I wear dresses instead of wearing it underneath the dress I have to wear it on top of the dress. I'm giving this three stars because it really does help well trying to move around but the downfall is really bunches and pinches when sitting.
Bought for my third trimester, was looking at some additional support for my heavier and heavier belly. I had previously bought a more heavy duty sacroiliac back support belt but that didn’t really hold up the belly, per se. This does, but can get uncomfortable after a while especially if right up against your skin. Feels tight when sitting but too loose and it doesn’t do anything- so I mainly wear when standing. It does support the belly, but doesn’t do anything for back pain. Overall, average. Packaged nicely and well made. Good price.
I really wanted to love this, but I can't say that I do. It helps a little, but doesn't make the difference I was looking for. It also adds it's own kind of discomfort, doesn't stay perfectly in place, and makes clothing ride up. I'll keep using it because I have it, but I wouldn't buy it again.
Added a little bit of support, but felt super scratchy and itchy. If I wore it under my shirt it irritated my belly, and if I wore it over then it rubbed my arms. It did help with the pain in my hips from pelvic issues though, so not a total loss.
This belt was not helpful for the stage of pregnancy i am in, that being the last 8 weeks. While it was comfortable to wear, it was almost too soft. It did not provide much support. It may have helped earlier in this pregnancy or in an earlier pregnancy (this is my fifth).
Honestly, I'm not even sure if this belt is making a difference. I'm 33 weeks and have been having a lot of pain, but putting the belt on just makes me feel more squeezed in and uncomfortable. I look forward to taking it off at the end of the day as I look forward to taking off my bra. I was really hoping that the belt would alleviate some of the pain and cramps I've been getting in my legs and back, but so far, there doesn't seem to be any change.
I just got this today. First of all I find it difficult to put on. Secondly, I don’t really feel like it’s helping with anything. I put it on as tight as I can which is a struggle I might add. I’ll keep trying but I’m not so sure about this
Worked well for second trimester. Didn’t help enough for third. Soft and comfy. If you stay small through out your pregnancy then this might work well for you. I also found it only comfortable standing and doing housework. Can’t wear sitting.
