I just got this for my soon-to-be Kindergartner. The picture is very true to life, the size is standard, and the quality seems good. The image looks great, and the glitter is plenty sparkly. I was a bit cautious since there weren't any reviews at the time I bought this backpack, but my daughter fell in love with this one, so I took a chance. I can't say how it will hold up for sure since the school year hasn't started yet, but it seems to be on par with what I have come to expect, build quality wise, from these types of character backpacks.
Edit: Added a few pics. We are a couple of weeks into the school year now and it is holding up just fine.
When it arrived I was very happy with how bright and true to picture this backpack was. After about a month the zipper fell off, then the mesh side pockets developed holes, smaller pocket ripped and chipped off. This is what the backpack looks like after 7 months. There is absolutely no zipper, and everything is torn up so I'm having to purchase another to finish out the school year. My daughter only wore it to and from school. It wasn't played with or anything, so no reason to be so messed up aside from poor materials.
The first day my daughter used the back pack it broke two different times in less than 3 hours. The part of the zipper that you hold broke, I thought no biggie I can fix that but then the whole zipper broke and it wouldn't stay zipped at all. Very disappointed this was my daughters first day of kindergarten and she was already nervous. The back pack actually made her day worse: (
Doesn't sheerness mean like see through? It mean it backpack not piece of clothing so I am not going say it's warm. Or that it is any less thick or thicker then any other backpack my child has in her school going experience (she entering 4th in September) I have autistic 9 year old who would only use a MLP bag that my mom got her on sale years before but from over packing it with toys she wanted to bring with her as her security/reward it began tearing. I searched for budget friendly MLP bag and found this one. I figured she'd love the rainbow and was right.
Terrible material... I thought Id give it a chance. Once it arrived, visually, it looked great. However, after a month the zipper broke off and after fixing it it continued to do so! Very disappointed. Don’t waste your time and money with this product!!
Found the zipper to close to inside fabric. Zipper kept jamming, so I cut the fabric out. The little clouds stick out and get pulled loose and torn. I've already cut one off to prevent further damage. Is as pictured and my 5 yo grandaughter loves it changes and all.
I like this backpack, but am treating it gently because of some of the other warning reviews that indicate the clouds and such can come off relatively easily. So far so good, here. (Purchased for a 4yr old)
