I don't see how these are usuable unless you have a death grip. I couldn't keep it from flying out of my hand. I also dont understand why you'd want that soft of an attack. I mean...people want you to use these on Uke basses? There's no way. The string is rubbery and so is the pick. It doesn't work. Maybe if they were thinner but then they probably wouldn't last very long. I sent the package back. Sorry. I tried.
I got these to play the ukelele as I cant seem to manage to play evenly with my finger. They are a little thick for that purpose still but I was able to separate the two pieces and play with the leather side for softer picking, and the thicker side to play louder. I like the colors and the design.
I've never used leather picks before either for guitar or bass. That said, it is taking some time to get used to these for playing bass or Ukelele. The sound is okay for both but feels very different to me.
I’m a new ukulele player, long-time guitarist. These leather picks are great for the uke... Comfortable to hold and easy to use, they produce the typical ukulele sound without adding anything and let me strum rapidly with ease.
Great sound. Seem durable. Work much better than sweeping you finger(s) up and down for strumming, especially if you're a guitar player and, if you're like me, you don't want to learn yet another strumming or picking technique for playing the ukulele.
