Poor business model

I've been a happy customer of Amazon, with barely a reason to be disappointed. The Audible subsidiary seems to have missed the customer service memo though, and is a bit of a black sheep in Amazons lineup.
Briefly, some of the problems I've had with Audible:
- My email communication preferences keep being reset. Time will pass and I'm eventually bombarded with emails for a free trial, or books on sale.
- My first cancellation never took effect. The second ended my membership the day I was charged, and no refund was processed.
- I was billed for three months, with no email notifications of the charges.
To give Audible credit, I was refunded completely. Hence the three stars.
Although I feel it should never have got to that. It's a practice I've seen before. Hope the customer forgets the trial, and throw in a few billing bloopers and hope they don't notice. Charging people for a service they don't plan is theft, or at a minimum completely dishonest scumbaggery.
