I have a 3 yrs old cat and i need to give her medication for urine issue. This is my first time to give my cat medication so i give this bag a try. Bag is quality and feels durable. But the QUESTION is: HOW TO PUT THE CAT IN?
I end up to use a towel for the medication without the bag. I am not gonna return it but this thing doesn't work for me
I took a chance on this because one of my cats absolutely hates having her nails clipped. Indeed she will not let me even handle her paws. This one had a hissy fit and I had great difficulties getting her in the bag ( ha) at all. I will not do this again. I had to try once but twice would just be cruel. I am not sure about seditives or indeed who needs it most, she or I. Yeow!
My 12lb cat took up the whole bag. It looked like a stuffed sausage. The Velcro was tight around his neck so he couldn’t get out. He kicked once with his back legs, the Velcro busted open, and he shot out the front.
My cat Olive will not sit still for a nail trimming. Thought I'd give this a try. It took awhile to get her in the bag. I was just as stressed as she was by the time I was ready to trim her nails. I managed to get her front paws done and decided to try to get her back nails a few days later. No way was she going in the bag a second time. The zippers and velcro couldn't hold her. This bag is really only for a very calm cat, but then why would I need it?
I have a cat that hates having his feet touched, so I was really excited about this product. The material is sturdy and the zippers are well sewn. But the Velcro is weak. It simply doesn't hold. My car managed to break out of the Velcro and squeeze out the front neck hole before i could zip up the rest of the bag. Also there needs to be one size larger than medium. My cat isn't a chunk, but the medium just isn't quite big enough to hold him comfortably.
I bought the medium size and it was way too small fo my 13 lb cat. You want to make sure the cats can breathe since they're usually freaking out during grooming. I couldn't even get the bag zipped or the neck strap vecroed at all. I'm sure it will work great for my smaller cat, though.
I tried to use this to hold my mini dachshund for nail trims. It’s very difficult to load her and get her feet through. She also easily pulls them back. Maybe it works for cats, but not for my small dog.
