I mounted 12 posters to foamcore for a client and within a few days the client called and returned all mounted posters because they started peeling off. Usually use 3M spray adhesive but thought I would try Gorilla. Now i'm going to buy 3M and redo the job...
I was searching for 3m 77 spray adhesive. Amazon once again displayed items supposed to be equal to what I searched. This stuff will not adhere paper to painters tape. The 3M 77 does. (Adhesion) The Gorilla adhesive instructions don't work, unless you spray both pieces. Not easy to use. I did not buy contact cement!
I bought this product to use for sticking up foam padding to a wall. I followed the instructions by cleaning the wall with rubbing alcohol. I then used copious amounts of the adhesive. At first it worked great. I was not in my apartment for sometime, a few weeks, and came back to a few of the foam squares on the ground. Apparently the humidity in the apartment cause the adhesive to loosen. When I think of Gorilla Glue I think of adhesive that will last close to forever, not a couple months. Please do better!
I expected this spray to have the same strength as the Gorilla Tape. Nope- doesn't hold much. I used it to hold up insulation panels in my van to keep it cool- What a joke! They came down in a day after I used two cans of it on 4 panels. This spray doesn't do well with heat. I might be fine in cool weather but if you are dealing with a heat situation it doesn't work well.
Been using 3M 77 for auto upholstery, got this and did multiple tests on different materials and surfaces. Failed miserably. Wouldn't dare do a complete interior only to have it fail and ruin a finished project. Can not return in, so in the garbage it goes. Wasted money. Don't do it!
