As a title states, I use this to mount a mirror on the wall and it turned out fantastic! I used two screws to mount the mirror for structural support, but I found that it was a bit shaky whenever there was negative pressure inside of my room. So after scouring Amazon and reviews online, I found this gorilla brand spread adhesive and it's absolutely fantastic! The odor is a bit strong, so I suggest using it in a very well ventilated area, but other than that, it dries extremely quick and sprays on very evenly. I ended up over spraying the mirror, as I thought it would be better than under spring, but with this stuff I found a little goes a very long way.
Decided to spray adhesive (repositionable and material backing friendly) to mount a diamond painting to a wooden board. Directions were easy to follow. Sprayed both the material background and board and let set 30 seconds before bonding the two surfaces. Even though "repositioning" is an option for a minute, it was not necessary. Used mod podge to seal the diamond painting after being mounted, and the entire painting remained intact with no bubbling up during brushing the mod podge on, or after it dried. Strong enough to hold the painting up vertical. HUGE can, so will have enough for multiple paintings. Won't need to get any plexi-glass to cover future art. Turned can upside down to spray out excess in prep for next job.
This is good stuff! Being an aerosol it’s so easy to use! The nozzle hasn’t plugged plugged up - maybe because it doesn’t have a lot of thickness to the glue. It also has the good adhesion that we expect from Gorilla Glue. I’ve used it to restick wallpaper and even sprayed it on the back of a dog dish with a very fine crack. It was leaking slowly so I tried it and now it doesn’t leak! So it’s really for use on larger surfaces not for fine repairs.
I used this product to adhere a water color TO a canvas. What amazed me was the ability to shift/adjust the print prior to final sealing/adhering. i.e. it was tacky, but not permanent. We also used earlier in the morning to adhere the sole of a shoe, and it worked much better than a glue gun. Can't get rid of those favorite/lucky golf shoes. LOL Yes, I'd highly recommend. A good quality product, with ease of use. Happy to see the Gorilla product line expand.
The spray will dribble. I guess I can live with that since the bottle will sometimes, also.
It cures much faster than a blob of Gorilla Glue will. Holds fine for my applications, which is mainly cardboard, fabric, paper, so far. Best to spray outside or put into a garbage bag in case of overspray and to catch a drip, and also, contain the fumes. Don't breathe those.
The only spray stronger is the 3M 90 spray which is 100x better but also very hard to find these days. I stocked up and bought a case. I have tried pretty much every spray adheasive on everything you can imagine. This is a good one. Better than most but not the best. 3M 90 is the best. This is better than the 3M 77 and locktite though. Cap doesn't get clogged up wither which is a huge plus.
