Used it for the first time this evening. I play steel guitar in a band and was looking for something to hold bottle of water etc and clamp to leg of steel. Several don’t take into account the angle and allow for offset degree of angle. They assume it’s a straight mic stand, so I wanted something that would swivel and allow it to be straight. Product worked well and held up fine all evening for a steel coffee mug size cup. Clamp was sturdy as all get out and product appears to be well built. Time will tell but for now, A++++
Cheap! That was my first impression and I wasn't wrong, because within a few weeks it is already broken and headed for the trash heap. If you are still thinking about buying it let me tell you where you will have trouble: 1. The screw that attaches it to the mic stand will not tighten down and then strip out the threads. 2. The cup holder will only fit a 16.9oz bottle of water. Don't think you are going to use your yeti tumbler 3. It probably won't hold a full bottle anyway. A full bottle is too much weight for the plastic threads that attach the bottle holder part to the mic stand piece.
Be prepared to put the holder back on. Repeatedly. Like after almost every sip. The clamp itself is sturdy and I've never had to adjust it. Unfortunately, the holder has these notches that you use to fit into the clamp, and more often than not, the holder will pop off with your drink. It works, it's just annoying to have to keep reseating the holder to the clamp. Keeping for now, but I'll be looking for something that works better.
I use this to hold a 20oz Contico stainless steel cup on my drum rack. It keeps me hydrated during 3 hour long sets. The holder broke after extensive use over 9 months. Sheer Living replaced the broken part with 2 replacements just in case. I am a happy drummer! I would recommend this purchase.
This is a wonderful, practical, accommodating, strong cup holder. I am an artist that also uses a cane. When the cane was added, I ran out of hands and spilled a lot of coffee. Crescendo Drink Bottle Holder gave me a third hand when added to my rolling portfolio... the only thing I might ask for in the design is a slightly deeper cup holder by possibly an inch to an inch and a half, then it would be perfect for a rolling device. I believe that I could also adhere the device to my cane and not spill a drop.
I like the fact that it can firmly grasp a pool which is at an angle just to keep the bottle of water flat colon but I had hoped it would also hold a conventional ceramic coffee cup well not to so I am buying another cup holder for that purpose requiring two holders I wish that one had done the job.
This is the right size to go on my wheelchair. My main problem is that is the part that holds your drink, slides off as you pick your drink up and you are left trying to re-hook that part that holds your drink to the holder on the wheelchair.
