My wife owns a hair salon and used this on some of her clients (with their permission of course) and she wasn't all that pleased with the results. Every time she used it she had to spend extra time trying to undo what it did. I don't know enough about it to go into detail, but she ended up throwing it out as it caused her (and the clients) too much distress.
The smell was nice enough, but the price is out of this world considering the professional stuff is not this expensive and works much better.
2.0 out of 5 starsLeft my hair soft feeling but very dry looking; tons of flyaways

I have very long, very fine hair that is quite dry and a little bit damaged. I was hoping this mask would help improve the look of my hair, but sadly it did not. The mask did leave my hair feeling soft, but my hair looked super dull and was full of flyaways. It didn't do anything at all to hydrate my hair, it just left it soft and as dry as before.
Thought this would be a great product. It does nothing. Tried it different ways, leave in, rinse out, as flatiron aid, use a little, use a lot and it doesn't perform. Made my hair VERY flyaway, and not that soft to touch. I have great hair and wanted a good treatment as a splurge during Covid. This is so much money for a product that does not do what it says. The Pureology brand prompted my decision to buy this product over others
I miss the old hydrate deep conditioning treatment. This smells good, but doesn't work all that well. I have long, medium/course hair that isn't colour treated. I heat style my hair every 1-2 days and was hoping this would help my hair regain some moisture. I usually leave it on for at least 20 minutes in the bath. It did make my hair soft and smell really nice (like a hint of coconut but not overly sweet) but still pretty frizzy after the treatment. The old hydrate conditioning mask made my hair almost heavy afterwards, but this is too much of a lite conditioning treatment.
I have to warn everybody in advance that I have very complicated hair, and the fact that this mask did nothing for me doesn't mean it won't be good for less problematic hair. I'm blessed with an enormous mane of very thick and curly hair that tends to get very dry and matted if I don't take extreme care and don't spend a lot of time brushing it out and putting product into it. I used this hydrating treatment by Pureology in hopes that it would help me control the dryness and the frizz at least a little bit but I noticed no result at all. Still, most people don't have such extreme issues with their hair that their hairdresser runs away in tears when they come into the salon. For those luckier folks, this might be a useful product.
