To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
The top presser portion was easy since there is a tray that just moves everything off. But it’s the metal wires that the garlic runs through that was difficult to clean. I tried a sponge and some of the sturdy side material got stuck. I tried a toothpick to poke some stuck garlic, didn’t work. I tried a scrub with long bristles and that didn’t work. Ended up returning it because while I did get the device clean, it was too much work to have to scrub so intensely and having to use tweezers to pick out small bits of stuck garlic.
Convenient and compact design but absolutely difficult to get clean -soaked it but ended up cleaning each grid with knife - could only mince a small Clove of garlic put larger one through twice Nice mince But not sure if it is worth the cleanup returned it
Make sure you cut each clove into 1/3ed's anymore and not enough leverage to press it through. I am afraid of breaking it with anything bigger ,cute but not practical for me to use. It will collect dust one shelf at my house🤒
Great for slicing or mincing. Bits of garlic get mashed between the blades and are hard to remove, but the removeable grid is ingenious and effective. Having everything self-contained, stored in one compact unit, is convenient. I found the silicon garlic peeler to be inefficient, but if you object to garlic smell on your finger, it probably helps.
I like how quickly I can chop garlic with this, but when people reviewed how difficult it is to keep clean, they weren’t kidding. I ended up throwing mine out because I didn’t like the mess, and ended up going back to chopping garlic the old fashioned way.
