4.0 out of 5 starsEasy to apply, feels soft and silky

This is the classic twist up tube containing a gnerous stick of lippy. I don't wear lipstick very often as I rarely find a colour I like, however, this one appealed to me, so I thought I'd give it a whirl.
It's very easy to apply and feels silky and smooth on my lips – and I actually like the colour. It's a sort of muted, dull pink which suits my colouring. I can't say it lasts the 8 hours Rimmel claim, but I put it on in the morning and by lunchtime – maybe four hours later – there was no trace of it.
I probably buy Rimmel more than any other brand, because I know it's good value for money; this is no exception.
fantastic colour, being a nice cocoa colour. It went on easily and lasted fairly well, but I did find it very drying and my lips felt chapped afterwards. I did find moisturising my lips first and allowing that to soak in and then applying a moisturising top coat of balm over the top worked quite well, though. That's a bit faffy though, hence why the one star off.
4.0 out of 5 starsGreat lipstick, another colour would be good

This is quite a nice lipstick.Easy to apply and feels nice when on, it lasted through a coffee and later a meal. It is a moisturiser too and you can actually feel the moisturising effect. The only thing I disliked, sadly, was the colour. It is a deep purple colour and is just not for me. I wore it for some hours to test its longevity but kind of did a double glance each time I past a mirror. Great lipstick but could not wear colour
4.0 out of 5 starsNot my colour, but very conditioning! A good lipstick.

I'm reviewing the Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick, 4 g, Get Dirty. Here are my thoughts:
^^ I thought I'd give this 'Get Dirty' coloured lipstick a try, and get The London Look, but this this colour is far too dark for my skin's complexion. Too intense and shocking. However, I'm sure not everyone will dislike it. On me it's so dark brown it's almost black. Especially if I apply it thickly.
^^ As to not waste it, I've taken to use it around the house and applying it very lightly it's just about manageable to wear - a pale brown colour. I think this would look much better on someone with darker skin tones. It's such a lovely colour, just not on me.
^^ Why still wear it? Because it's a very moisturising lipstick and my lips were quite chapped earlier on, but after applying this for a few days my lips have really improved.
Overall: Not my colour at all, but I'd buy different colours from this range, as it's really conditioning my lips making them lovely and soft and smooth.
A very smooth lipstick that applies easily and feels great on - almost like lip balm. However, because it's so soft it does bleed easily and the first time I tried it, I had it all over my teeth (not a good look!). It lasts well but does transfer to glasses etc. so some reapplication is needed throughout the day.
I liked the 'Get Dirty' shade but think it is a little dark for my skin tone - it's less pink than the picture and more of a russet colour. I'd definitely try some of the other colours though as overall it's a great lipstick!
4.0 out of 5 starsLovely lipstick - ideal for everyday

This is a good quality lipstick offered up in a simple and sleek holder. The colour is a conservative beige, suitable for everyday wearing. It sticks well, not getting taken off by cups too badly would suit most women of any age.
If you are looking for something a bit more daring to "turn heads" as the description describes I would go for one of the other colours. Berry Mischef and Red are both ideal for a night out.
4.0 out of 5 starsNice colour, decent lasting power

Love the colour of this, it’s striking without being in your face bright. It had reasonable lasting power and, as someone with sensory issues, it wasn’t too sticky and uncomfortable which is a huge issue for me.
