4.0 out of 5 starsSuper shiny hair that's soft, but doesn't last long on my unprocessed, messy hair.
Reviewed in Canada on 2 April 2019
I used this conditioner alongside my regular shampoo, which I know the effects of, so I could be sure of what effect it had on my hair. It had an awesome effect, however, I didn't feel it lasted particularly well. As soon as I woke up, my hair was as unmanageable as usual. For that reason, I recommend this most for those who wash their hair and condition daily, or who style their hair and take pains to keep it neater. My hair is naturally wavy with a tendency to frizz, so nothing really tames it for long. Speaking of natural waves and curls, Television Hair conditioner left my hair really soft and smooth, but not lank or flat. It really works well with waves and curls because hair remains volumised, but sleeker. I think with heat processed curls it would be even better.
The number one takeaway from this conditioner was SHINE. Like, buckets of it. My hair was crazy shiny while using this. The scent might not appeal to all. I feel like it's unisex, but could see how some might feel it's masculine. I can't pin down exact scents, but to me it smells sweet, musky and quite 'woodsy', like the outdoors or fresh plants. My partner didn't notice the smell on my hair, but I have a strong nose and could smell it for a day afterwards.
It goes on and rinses off easily and you can feel the softness immediately after washing it out, even before it dries. I would use it again for sure!
4.0 out of 5 starsHair feels healthy and looks a bit better
Reviewed in Canada on 21 March 2019
I haven’t tried the shampoo in this “Television Perfect” line of products so I can’t comment on how well the two products work in conjunction with each other.
The conditioner has a strong smell (which I like but don’t love) so this might not be ideal for those with sensitive sniffers. I don’t mind that much either way as long as it doesn’t smell truly offensive. The consistency is very thick, not creamy at all so it can be hard to spread in my long hair and I end up using a bit more than my usual conditioners. It washes out easily and leaves my hair feeling silky but not still coated and slimy.
Whether I air dry or blow dry my hair, it looks healthy and feels smooth after using this conditioner. It helps to keep my frizz and broken hairs + damaged ends tamed and I don’t need to use additional detanglers or hair oil/serum/cream which is sometimes necessary with cheap or very simple conditioners. Overall, I’m not blown away or super impressed by the visual effects but my hair does feel really nice and healthy after using it!
For those interested, it’s formulated without mineral oil, petrolatum, parabens and SLS & SLES but it does contain silicone (Dimethicone) so for those trying to avoid hair products with that, don’t buy this!
4.0 out of 5 starsPricey But You Do Use Less than Your Regular Conditioner
Reviewed in Canada on 17 March 2019
I absolutely love the R+Co Television Perfect Hair Shampoo so I thought I'd try the Conditioner.
This conditioner works well, hydrates and moisturizes your hair, rinses clean and leaves your hair shiny smooth. It smells fruity with a hint of raspberry smell. There's actually no raspberry in this conditioner however the fruity smell is probably due to the Juniper Berry Extract.
The biggest reason I like the Television Shampoo is that you only need a drop or two to wash your hair, this makes the 8oz bottle incredibly efficient and last a long. It's equivalent to a 32oz or larger bottle so for $40 the shampoo is definitely worth it.
Unfortunately the conditioner isn't as efficient as the shampoo. You do use a little less than your regular brand of conditioner but it definitely won't last as long as the shampoo making this conditioner pretty pricey.
Does it work, yes but I don't know if I'd by it again mainly due to price. I will continue to use the R+Co Television shampoo because it's so efficient but I'll go back to my regular conditioner once this bottle is done due to price.
4.0 out of 5 starsLeaves hair feeling silky, clean and moisturized.
Reviewed in Canada on 19 April 2019
I have used several of the R+Co shampoos and conditioners and I enjoy the quality of these products. This conditioner is thick in relation to most drugstore products out there. I find it is a bit harder to spread into my hair. This results in using more product. The conditioner really made it easy to brush my hair out in the shower though. I leave the product in for about 5 minutes to help moisturize each hair strand. It is on the higher price range for the small amount you get. That is the only drawback.
After using this product for a few weeks, my hair feels moisturized and looks shiny. I love that it leaves my hair squeaky clean. However, I still need to style my unruly hair afterwards – no amount of this conditioner can tame my fly-away and frizzy hair.
This company stays away from using harsh ingredients such as sulphates, mineral oils, and parabens. They are a vegan and cruelty-free hair care line. One thing to look out for in the ingredient list is dimethicone – it’s what makes the hair feel slippery and silky. Some people prefer not to have this in their beauty products. I found the scent to be like that of candy – I couldn’t quite put my finger on it. It’s quite pleasant! It has more of a musky, masculine scent as opposed to a flowery, feminine scent.
4.0 out of 5 starsGreat Conditioner for Those With Hard-To-Manage Hair!
Reviewed in Canada on 27 May 2019
I really like this R+Co Television Perfect Hair Conditioner, and have used it several times to date with great results! Even though I have not used this in conjunction with the Television Perfect Shampoo, my hair seemed considerably softer and easier to style after every use.
This is an easy-to-use conditioner, and for best results I let it sit on my strands for 5-10 minutes before I rinse it out. I am not fond of the smell, which is rather strong compared to the conditioners that I usually use, and may not be suitable for those who are scent-sensitive. That being said if you're not scent-sensitive and can tolerate the smell, this conditioner really does a great job in assisting to tame hard-to-manage strands such as mine. I found that this helped a lot to manage my frizz, which is why I'll be continuing to use it until the bottle is empty.
The price of this conditioner at $40 seems a little steep in my opinion, and I doubt that I will buy another one when this one is done. While it does work, and it works well, it can be difficult for the average person to pay $40 for a conditioner in such a small size.
4.0 out of 5 starsMakes My Hair Very Manageable & Smells Great
Reviewed in Canada on 21 March 2019
I have tried a few products from the R + Co Line but this Television Perfect Hair is my favourite conditioner. It leaves my hair super soft, shiny and manageable so that I’m not raking a brush through knotted, tangled hair. Despite how moisturizing it is, it is very lightweight and doesn’t weigh my hair down or cause it to look flat. The scent is a little bit stronger than I usually like but I actually love it and so does my husband! He commented on how good my hair smelled several times throughout the day. He also said he likes the way the bathroom smells after I use it. Bonus air freshener!
I love that it is free from parabens, petrolatum, mineral oil and most of all, sulfates as I don’t use any products with sulfates on my hair anymore. It is also cruelty free and both gluten free and vegan.
The only issue I have with this product is the price. The bottle isn’t massive (8.5 ounces) and it is $40! This is a little out of my price range but I would consider buying the set if they ever had a deal on Amazon.

This is a very premium brand (at a premium price) but I do feel they do a good job that warrants a good review. Their product is quality – smells great, feels great, and best of all – it works great. Once applied to your hair, it does a great job of moisturizing and conditioning – and I do notice the difference after. It helps keep my hair soft and light throughout the day and that’s the most important thing with any conditioner. The only complaint is the price here – I do think they can appeal to a lot more people at the right price.

4.0 out of 5 starsGentle scented and mild conditioning results
Reviewed in Canada on 17 March 2019
This is a fairly neutral conditioner. Not much of a scent .... Very subtle typical conditioner scent which fades away quickly , which is good in my opinion. It goes on fairly thick and takes a small bit of effort to lather through hair and scalp. You need to use a good amount otherwise it doesn't feel like it's on your hair. I have short hair and spouse has long hair so this small bottle will be gone fairly quick.
After a minute , combing through and rinsing off is quick because it washes residual conditioner off very easy unlike other products where you really need to work it through.
I must say though, my Hair isn't as soft and tamed like other conditioners in my cabinet. Certainly this seems like a "daily"conditioner as the results of using it isn't really as drastic as other products.
If your hair doesn't need extreme softening and you're looking for something to use daily, this is for you.
