Hershel is trendy right now which lead me to purchase this. It seems to be good quality bit for me, it is pretty limited as it only has one pocket. I would prefer 2 or more sections so there is a more secure place to put money or credit cards without the risk of them falling out each time you open it for something else. Hershel only offers this ina much bigger pack
My fault for not looking and thinking enough about my purchase, but be aware that it's a SINGLE POCKET. nothing to stop your keys from scratching your phone or anything. Also the strap is kinda awkward. Would've been nice if they put more thought into the strap, it's essentially like the straps on bookbags where it dangles down. There is a clip but it's not great.
This is for the very basic essentials. I would still recommend having pockets on your wardrobe. I bought this for my mother who always wears skirts and I don't think this will really solve her problem, but it will definitely help at least.
I think this would be perfect if there was just ONE more pocket or compartment, just something to keep keys away from scratching your valuables.
Also I think it's smaller than people are leading to believe. I put my mom's phone, keys and a bundle of cash in there and it quickly got cramped. Sure you can put more in there but I don't think you should fill it to the brim either. This has about the same capacity as your average male jean pockets, so just think about it.
I bought this for my partner. The color and material was nice (both inside and out) but overall he didn't want to wear it. His two issues were: 1) there wasn't a lot of inside compartments, and he wanted to be able to put things in separate compartments (ie. phone in one part, ID in another) 2) it basically looks like a small purse, whereas he wanted something that looked more masculine. If you are okay with the look or need a pack that's bigger than just for your phone/wallet/keys, I'd say go for it. I ended up getting a different, smaller waist pack for him.
It's a great product HOWEVER. the description is deceiving. I work with an elderly women who needed a fanny pack for a particular reason. We found this bag and it seemed perfect. The way they have described the size was confusing to both of us. Is it 14 inches long? Or 8 inches? It is too small for what she needs it for. I'm not sure if I'm going to return it or keep it for myself. Just know it's not 14 inches long.
