This thing cuts meat like a mofo. Super sharp. I'm not sure why "thick" is something to rate for a meat knife. I wouldn't say it's "thick". It is, however, appropriately thick. I use it to cut fat off of brisket and it works like a charm. It's bigger than I thought, but that's my fault for not measuring. It's still perfect for what I need it for.
An excellent lightweight knife. Designed, I think for sectioning pieces of cooked meat. It's a little lightweight for sectioning bigger pieces but it is sharp and will hold an edge well. It's good steel. The lightness makes it easy to use. The handle is ergonomic. I like it better than the Chicago knives I have because they hold a sharp edge longer, but I do like the heavier gauge steel of the Chicago.
This is the budget priced version of a good knife. It does the trick and offers good value. I use it to cut steaks from large cuts of beef, pork, etc. it’s well balanced, has a good shape and cuts through large portions of meat easily and quickly.
So far so good, I do have to sharpen it quite often. I do not put mine in the dishwasher and I bought a sleeve for it. I do wish this came with a sleeve since its got a curve it can be hard to find one to fit the knife.
It's hard to write a review when you're so accustom to a quality product like this. It's sharp as a razor. Has a strong blade out of quality steel and the price was right. A great knife for those who expect the best.
Sent me a open package with it taped shut. Wasn’t happy about buying a new one with the package cut open already and taped back shut. Other than that knife is great. Use it everyday at work for breaking beef. Works as it should
