To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Well, here’s another review about the label. It would have 5 stars. I knew the cost and the size, so no problem there, but it would be much more effective if a super sticky label wasn’t stuck over some of the information and a hassle to get off. Maybe some different glue or put the label over plastic wrap? That’s so not necessary and ANNOYING! If I’m paying $7 for a card, I expect to be able to use all of it right out of the package and not need to buy goo gone and spend 45 minutes picking paper layers off.
I ordered this chords card for my granddaughter, as she's just learning how to play the ukulele. I knew she'd need a reference sheet as she learned the chords, which is why I ordered this. Even though her vision is a lot better than mine, I think she struggles with the text size. I'd advise buying a larger size so the chords can be more visible. A nice selling point is the card also provides more information on chord names and how they are formed. Great reference for beginning musicians.
I have the large poster and three-pack chord charts by this same brand (Best Music Stuff) for guitar and am very happy with and recommend those. The cards in that set don't bend easily or accidentally crease because they are a nice, sturdy weight and have good quality lamination. I expected the version for ukulele to be the same quality and it is definitely NOT!
The ukulele version card is flimsy and could easily be accidentally bent or creased. It looks like someone printed the chart on ordinary paper and ran it through a home laminator. Didn't even trim it. And then there's the sticker on the back that it a real pain to remove. UGH. Disappointing is an understatement.
The information on the card is useful, so I'm going to keep it and treat it very gently. But it is not worth $6. Not even close.
I like the signs, I like the fact that it is durable. I did not like the fact that they put the sticker right over the main part which had to be removed with some difficulty. It will come in handy for beginners especially. Think the price it's probably $2 to high for the product. The fast delivery by Amazon is much appreciated.
Nearly impossible to remove a frail sticky label attached to the back of the chords cheat cheat. When you try to remove it, it falls apart and leaves a very sticky residue. I tried alcohol, scraping to no end. I finally gave up and do not look at that section of the chart.
Product came with a product sticker labelled securely attached to the back of the card that covers some of the chord formula and progression notes. Sticker was very difficult to remove and has left gummy residue on the card which makes it sticky. It would be better to put the product into a bag that has a label on it -- or use a label that is easier to peelk off and won't leave gummy residue.
