I bought this for my husband who has Parkinson’s disease to try out. I have been recording a short video each time he uses it. Over the course of 8 days the improvement has been considerable. At first he couldn’t hit the ball with his right hand and he tired after about two minutes. Now he can use alternate fists and on day six today he worked the ball for 6 minutes. I am impressed and eventually he will begin moving around and hitting the ball. It is a challenge and fun as well.
We just received our boxing head ball a couple of days ago. It has had our family in stitches. Its actually not easy, but we were pleased there is an easy ball and a professional one, we are just going with the easy for now. I can totally see why someone is using it for a person with Parkinsons, hand eye co-ordination is a must with this and its so much fun. We have two boys 13 and 7 and they were giggling at each other as its not as easy as it looks, however living in current victorian lockdown with covid in a two bedroom apartment, we need to exercise and get some energy out of the boys, this is one way that is brilliant for that purpose. I really thought I was buying a gymic but honestly we are really impressed with it. I would honestly recommend and Amazons shipping is so fast.
Love this product. It was slightly hard to get the hand/eye coordination at first but after a few goes I was improving my accuracy so much and it's a great warm up. I've heard people complain that they could not stand orthodox/southpaw but the reality is you can practice in any stance. I'm now incorporating punches, knees, spinning with any stance I feel like.
