To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
My wife ordered it and she looked for a washing instructions label. Nowhere did it saw dry clean only. So she washed it in cool water and dried it on the lowest setting. It came out thoroughly wrinkled and one size smaller -- shrunk. The garment should have come with clear instruction. Now she is throwing it away.
You know how you’re supposed to fit the largest part of your body, and have the rest of the garment tailored as needed? Two things. With Lark & Ro dresses, if the largest part of your body is your bust, you are going to have issues. I am 5’3”, weigh 108 pounds, and yes, Gentle Reader, my bust is my, uh, dominant feature. I’m not some hydrolic Barbie/Pamela Anderson disaster. Not at all. But my guess is that anyone who’s bigger than a C cup is going to want to go up at least one size.
Second thing: You aren’t going to want to bother having this tailored, once you’ve gotten your bosom into it, because the fabric is really cheap and flimsy. The whole dress feels poorly made. It might be ok for a teenager to wear for one season, but it’s not at all suitable for an adult’s wardrobe.
Got a small, since I am a size 6; 120 lbs. Too tight across the chest, shoulders and could barely get my arms into the sleeves. Returned and got a medium - I still fell like I am wearing a wetsuit. Come on - I wear a small in a tee shirt - this sizing is WAYWAY off. Too bad since its a cute dress. I am returning the second one. I'm done with Lark & Ro.
Usually wear a L but ordered Extra Large. Still too tight, especially the sleeves. It came so wrinkled not sure if I could get them out. Also pink color is more melon than pink. I wanted to try this brand, won't again.
