Went on easily and stayed on for ages and I guess prevented scratching damage. However I won’t be using more than the first set as my cat hated them and they seemed cruel. He tried hard to get them off but they stayed put and I struggled to get them off him. Seemed to make one of his claws go chunky whilst it was on for about a month and couldn’t get it off.
I’ve had more than a month to test these covers and I need to say I LOVE THEM!
They are so easy to put on! The tough part is distracting my cats immediately afterwards so that they don’t chew at their nails. What I’ve found is doing it immediately before playing with a laser pointer/giving treats and then their daily feeding works like a charm. Great product!
I bought these because the main title says they are for kittens and then further down it says "SIZE & PACKAGE: Only for cats, small size, suit for 3.5 lb - 8.5 lb cat and kitten." This makes it sound like it's the description for the item I purchased, which I now see is size M (medium). They don't fit my kitten and I will have to try to return them.
I was super excited to get these for my kitties since they've torn my furniture to shreds but I super regret putting these on them... The glue is painful on the skin so I can only imagine it's hurting them too. I got some of the glue on my fingers and it burned like crazy and was incredibly difficult to get off. I get that it's glue but I expected something a little less painful for my furbabies. Also, the glue is supposed to be toxic free but BOTH of my cats threw up several times a day during the 2 weeks they wore the nail caps. Once they all fell off, no more puking...
Definitely will not be putting these back on my cats.
This product is garbage. The first time I put them on my cat she was able to chew them right off. The second time I tried immediately after I put my cat down after application 3 fell off and the remaining glue had made the skin that covers her nail once retracted stuck to her nail. It must be so uncomfortable for her and I’m worried she’s going to rip the skin trying to get it unstuck or worse, an infection of some sort since she can now not protrude her nail completely.
I have a hardcore scratcher of a Maine Coon cat, he had these off within a week. My other cat is pretty much a non scratcher and his are still on (for the most part) after almost a month. They got the cats through the "new furniture" phase and that's all I really wanted.
Great claw covers! Just as good quality as what you get at the pet store, but for a fraction of the price! This is a really good price for how many sets of claw covers you get! Variety of colors which is nice! Easy enough to use, just make sure you wear gloves so you don't glue your fingers together!
my cat was moving and i glued the cap sideways on her thumb was driver she nuts so she chewed it off and ate some of her foot hmmmmmm so ya just glue the caps to there front and back claws and trim the thumbs and big tows with nail clippers
First of all, they are way too big for my cats. Second of all, one of them scratched them off the tip and removed them on the first day. The other one kept them for about 2-3 weeks but a lot of them would fell off without her playing with it. It’s cheap but not expensive so I guess if you have time to do that every week, then it’s good for you
