Swing and a miss....while reasonably well constructed and of decent quality (and in fact 12 gauge), the wire itself is aluminum rather than copper. Some people might not care but I much prefer conductors all be the same metal, and aluminum has it's limitations. If they just used copper wire these would be perfect.

The Quality is good, but the size of the copper wire is really 12 AWG, and was thus not usable for my specific application. However this still feels like a good quality product and I will use it in 30 Amp scenarios.

I do know that wire shielding plays an important part for current carrying capabilities, but since it doesn't have documentation besides the mislabeled 10 AWG rating it's hard to say if it will actually be able to sustain a 40 to 55 Amps and not burn up or melt.

The build quality of this fuse holder is top notch, don’t get me wrong… But, I feel a little bit let down as the item I received, in its unaltered state is not represented in this photo. The item comes as a single, uncut wire loop, and NO fuse included. Be prepared to supply your own fuse and connectors, you will also have to cut and strip the wire, then add the connectors yourself. Again, the quality is great, but not install ready out of the package.
