Looks good. Worked for a week. Starts to lose connection with HDMI to monitor. My monitor was new and I used several HDMI cords to test. My experience is the product is defective. Sent back for refund.
Only works once out of 10 times we try and plug it in. It works or won’t work it depends how it feels. This thing is unreliable and probable beat to pay more for better qu’atouts product to work with nintendo switch each time ... not when it feels like it.
Was so happy being able to take my Nintendo Switch everywhere with this small adapter. It has been always a plus thing compared with the full dock. But after 3 months later (used approx. 10 times) it stopped responding to my Switch or my Samsung S9 cellphone.
I would say this is an excellent temporarly solution but avoid it if looking for something permanent. Deserve 1 star and gone with trash.
I travel for work and was really excited to not have to lug around the Switch dock. When this arrived, it showed up branded as YCCTEAM; which doesn't matter to me so long as it works. So, I tested it a home and it worked.
Got to the hotel, plugged it in and...nothing showed up on screen. I fiddled around with plugging each cable in every sequence possible in addition to every Switch state (with game loaded, at home screen, etc.). Nothing worked. I then checked if the HDMI port on this adapter using my laptop - not working either. Next, I plugged the HDMI cord directly into my laptop - worked fine.
I can't believe how much time I wasted trying to figure out root cause. Now, I'm wasting even more time writing this review...
Rear of unit even has a badly printed label in broken english assuring that if I followed the steps carefully "It will work." I followed the directions to the letter. Used a genuine Nintendo power supply, the HDMI cable that came with my switch, and got no picture on the screen. Switch went blank and signal never go to my monitor. At least it didn't cause harm to my switch. Buyer beware, do not trust this unit, it might have worked for a previous version, but don't waste your time.
Doesn't work as it should.I have tried using it with my Samsung note 8 on a projector and also with a Nintendo switch on my samsung tv. Same result with both. It will connect and have a great picture for several minutes then the picture and sound go out. The device becomes very hot. I have found this device unusable. Its pretty straight forward on how to hook up and use so I don't believe its user error, But if anyone has any advice please share. I mostly want to use it with my note 8 and projector to watch movies outside by the firepit this fall.
Doesn’t work at all with my Nintendo Switch. I’m using the original Nintendo power adapter and HDMI cable, yet get no signal on the TV. If I try with a 3rd party power adapter (supports 65W PD including 15V@3A) the Switch says I need to use the original Nintendo power adapter. Maybe I got a defective one.
