To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
These work ok for a few days but invariably peel off - even though we’ve followed the instructions and not worn the ring for a few days to get them to stick properly. They are very discreet and easy to apply inside the ring, but just seems they are doomed to fall out after a couple of days. You do get quite a lot in the pack, so if you are patient enough to just keep applying, then they’ll do the job temporarily. Seems there’s no magic solution for those large rings...
Bought this as I've lost a little weight and my wedding ring has become loose. Found these to work well but you need to let them dry. I pressed firmly and left overnight. Works well but you need to be careful in the shower etc as they can come away until the dry again. Worth the money for what they do.
After reading the reviews which said to let the insert dry before wetting it, I put the insert on, and let it dry overnight on my bedside table. Put it on the next morning and it was off by the time I had finished my shower. It does not stay on, and it is not a product that enables you to take the ring on and off not to wet it. I have since bought a plastic one, and although it has only been 24 hours, appears to be much better.
So fiddly to stick on your ring and then when you try and get the ring back on your finger it just comes off - thinking about it your knuckles are always going to be bigger so when you try and slide it over it just moves so no good at all.
Easy to fit and a month on it's still adhering well to the ring. I do usually remove it before washing my hands so can't say if this would cause it to come loose but very pleased so far. Very comfortable, don't know it's there. Also plenty of different sized strips.
I wouldn't buy this again. The adhesion makes it last for a few hours and after that it begins to fall out by itself. In theory you would need to buy the same pack every few weeks when you've gone through every unit. I tried twice and binned the rest. I've only given two stars because indeed, it is easy to use, and it isn't as ugly as other options, but again, by no means a permanent fix.
