The cats LOVE the toys, and go totally bonkers for the ball. One of them actually eats the grass as well. The only issue is that the seeds that came with the package seemed old and rotten. When soaked, some of them started pussing white ooze, and I noticed during the second of third day of germination that there were teeny tiny little bugs crawling all over them. I tried to rinse the seeds well, which got rid of the bugs, but grass only ever sprouted through a handful of seeds. Had to buy new seeds to make it work. Recommend the toy, but buy the seeds separately.
I received this product and soaked the seeds as instructed but most of them never germinated (it’s been approximately 3 weeks at this point) I have finally given up today and thrown them out before my cat was able to enjoy it. The reason I’m giving this a 3 star though is because the plastic container and ball toy came undamaged and as advertised (my cat did enjoy playing with the ball).

Catit Play Circuit Ball Cat Toy with Scratch Pad Catnip Toy
My cats are spoiled like probably every pet in the world. We’ve lately been getting toys because we have a new cat/kitten who gets very bored. I saw this and thought it would be something that all the cats might enjoy. When it arrived, I had one cat who played with it for 15 minutes straight, and then she hasn’t touched it since. The other cats play with it once in a while. As for the center, the cat that played with it so long figured out how to take the “lid” off and got seeds and other stuff all over the floor. So, we won’t be able to use that part of the toy. I think it’s OK, but the design needs to fixed so that cats can’t get if off. It’s OK otherwise.
1) Docked two points for complete lack of instructions and the description. It's not catnip, it's cat grass. There were no instructions or information on where to find instructions. I googled the company and found very confusing instructions that were different than the ones posted on Chewy.
2) The grass grew very fast.
3) My cat would not play it it. Batted at it for five seconds, then hasn't looked at it again, or the grass. I suppose the mileage will vary from cat to cat.
