I used this adapter so I could plug a 64 GB MicroSD card into my Sony PSP so I could store my complete game collection on a single sane-priced card. Note that for a card of this size (above 32 GB), I can't remember but I think you might need to use a special tool to format it on your PC so the PSP can recognize it.
If that's the case, then the tool I used would've been "GUIFormat", which you'll find recommended anywhere people are discussing the topic of using a FAT32 file system on 64+ GB storage media.
So I bought this for my modded psp and the stick doesn't work the psp doesn't except the card with a micro SD card. I even bought the card in the picture and the psp registered the 64gb but when I put games on there it drop to 43gb and tried to launch them it froze then shutdown the system. I went and bought a 32gb memory stick pro duo mark 2 and all the games I had on the adapter to 64gb micro SD card work on the 32gb one so it isn't compatible for gaming it doesn't support either the speed it needs or the conversion is blocking the psp from accessing some of the data. I suggest you really test your products before saying they work with a device because yes you may save your profiles but you can not download games of the ps store and expect them to work they won't.
The PSP's Memory stick is restricted to 32GB and it isn't cheap. Luckly MicroSD cards are and this adapter allows you to use many gigabytes more of data on your PSP without spending the money. I'd stick to 64GB as the PSP isn't really designed to easy navigate though that many games.
Probably could get it cheaper elsewhere but the product is the same.
Here's the awful truth.. (2 stars off for the following reason) Have been thoroughly tested the card adapter with the help of a 'MemoryStick Pro' (large Sony's) external adapter many & smart (I might add) ways I can tell you for sure that it works on a computer (read/write) but it does not work on the camera. At least my Sony Cybershot DSC-V1. The camera cannot handle microSD cards only M2 micro cards (these cards work only with Sony cameras). I'm getting the error: "C:13:01". I cannot be sure about other maybe newer Sony models but mine doesn't. So it as a "waste of money" for me.
Garbage. Cheap. Couldnt fit designated microsd card in. Didnt fit. Broke. Was worried i also broke my microsd card. Its worth 120$ 400gb. It appears 2 of the metal connectors in the inside werent aligned properly. As only 2 bent when i inserted my microsd. Dont recommend buying it.
It lasted about a two weeks before it broke. Was not handled roughly, and spent most of its time inside a device. It still works, but I had to tape it together (which of course meant it was a lot trickier to install). Wouldn't recommend.
So far the product seems to meet my expectations, the price is also great giving the benefits, customer service, and shipping speed, I was able to plug in a 64 GB micro SDXC and everything seems to be working smoothly great customer service overall, I recommend this product over the dual slot due to risk of data corruption. I haven't tried this product on a 128 GB card so I'm not really sure if it can support up to that limit.
The Customer Service of funturbo is also great they are able to respond to emails and are willing to help you out wherever possible!
