To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I wasn't sure if this was going to work when I saw it, but I was pleasantly surprised. At first it was turning a little stiff and I thought that didn't bode well. However, it loosened up right away and worked just the way it's supposed to. My cord stays untangled and I couldn't be happier. I took one star off only because I hold the phone at the bottom normally, instead of the middle, and my hand grabs the device a little. It's hard plastic, and that's annoying and a little uncomfortable, but I don't see any solution to that. I would add 1/2 a star back if I could, but Amazon doesn't allow that. I attached a photo which shows the device having been on my phone for approximately two weeks. Without the device, it would have been a coiled mess at the end of each day. I'm VERY happy with it so far.
There were not alot of reviews to read before purchasing. I wish there had been. I would never purchased this had there been. This thing is nothing like what I use when I worked on phones selling items. This does not fit on your shoulder like the ones for a regular phone. No way could i use this for more than 10 minutes. If you try then be sure you have a chiropractor appointment you will need help with your neck. Don’t waste your money.
I bought these phone cord detanglers for our phones at work and yes, they are clear (sheer?) and easy to install. Big whoop. One didn't work right out of the package (meaning it caused so much static on the line when attached as to make the phone unusable). I was willing to take the hit on one because of the price. BUT...the second one stopped working this week (again causing so much static as to make the phone unusable), so that means it held on for 4 months. Ultimately what I ended up with is only 1/3 of the items being usable. And at this point I'm just waiting for the last one to fail also. I would definitely NOT recommend these to anyone.
So if you want to sit facing a desk and have a conversation, this 12 foot long handset cord is about the correct length... but don't try spinning around in a chair to grab a book off a nearby shelf. For that you will need the 20-25 foot length. This is just the way the industry has evolved.
Does the job. Good value. Solid Matte black color. No weird variation. It does feel soft and plushy not a hard solid plastic. There’s a little cracking that happens when you install and push down into the handset but it’s hardly noticeable. Also the ends may be trimmed jaggedly. Also not a deal breaker. It’s a good buy especially for the price.
I bought this on because it came with five cords for the same price as others for one cord. I have had problems with cheap cords wearing out in 3 months. This one seams to be a little heaver build and am hopeful it will out last the others, but hey I have 4 more if not.
I had tried other brands of cord detanglers, but after a couple of months, I always wound up replacing them because they created static on the lines. So I searched Amazon for detanglers with a different design, and gave these Jasco ones a try. The design is better because it allows for freer rotations, and look as though they will protect the connection better. They have only been installed for a little over a week at this point, so I will come back to update my review if they fail.
