To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
The hardware supplied is for wooden board mounting but not for masonary wall Hence the hardware is useless for me as I want to fix the bracket on brick wall. Please replace if you have the one.I Can return the bracket in original packing. Please return and refund the price Thanks
This bracket is specific to Bose Soundbar 700. It consists of two angle brackets , screws and anchors. There’s likely $1.00 worth of materials, but because of the Bose name, it’s close to $50.00. I feel raped!
Given other soundbars (eg. Sonos Beam/Bar) have wide solid mounts for the same price, the contents of the box are underwhelming and overpriced. Two brackets and some screws - and, for no apparent reason, a short bit of cable management in an obscure color. It mounts just fine as you'd expect, but given what you pay it should have been included in the 700 box full stop.
UPDATE (9/15/2020): After reaching out to Bose technical assistance via text (I don’t recommend this method - inconsistent, slow response.), I was assured that this mount is compatible. However, the agent failed to inform me that I needed to remove two of the rubber “feet” from the bottom of the soundbar to expose the threaded receptacles for the mounting screws. After figuring that out on my own, I was able to mount the soundbar using the included mounting hardware. For this reason, I increased my rating of this product from one star to two stars. My rating remains low, not because of craftsmanship of this product, it’s a fine product made of quality materials. My rating remains low because of the cost and the lack of clear instructions included with the product.
Regarding the cost - this is such a simple product with such basic parts that it no doubt was very easily engineered and manufactured. It’s my opinion that Bose is taking advantage of their brand recognition and prowess to charge an exorbitant price for such a simple product.
Regarding the poor instructions and incomplete template - as I previously stated, the instructions included with this product are not model-detailed or model-specific. Also, there are no words describing each step of the installation process, so you’re left to try to figure it out based on the graphics, which aren’t that helpful. The lack of the TV Speaker Soundbar on the template is inexcusable. If you make and advertise a product as being compatible with one of your other products, it should be included on the template.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: This wall bracket is advertised as being designed to accommodate the Bose TV Speaker soundbar. However, when I received mine and opened the package the template that was included does not show the mounting points for the TV Speaker soundbar, there are not model-specific instructions included or available from Bose, and the mounting plates do not line up with any threaded openings on the TV Speaker soundbar. I’ll be returning this wall bracket kit for a refund.
I purchased these brackets for my Bose TV Speaker to attach to a generic bracket for the sound bar that would to attach to the bracket hanging on the wall for the TV. These brackets work as advertised. There is not a lot of description to say that it works with the Bose TV Speaker, but it does. The worst part about it is that it’s just two metal brackets that should cost $5 max, but it costs $40 and twice as much as the bracket for the speakers. These brackets should come with the Bose TV Speaker. I don’t mind paying more for a high-quality speaker, but this is just a bracket and Bose is just nickel and diming their customers.
