It does what it says, holds my c922 logitech webcam and has a light that has good light settings. Change the brightness of the light and also how cool or warm you want it and or have cool and warm at the same time. I would how ever use some baking paper over the LED light if you want to record sit and talks so it is not so harsh. I bought a phone mount that fitted right onto it as well, it was fine but cannot handle holding the phone when you angle it away from the stand mounting bracket as it starts to sag a bit.
That is not this products fault as it is advertised for a lot less weight of the webcam.
This webcam stand and accompanying ring light is a great product at a great price. It has made a big difference for my work phone calls and coworkers have told me they have noticed a difference. (Perhaps I look awake now during the long conference calls?)
I recommend this for anyone that needs a bit of flexibility in a webcam setup with a ring light to fill in those hard shadows with either a warm or cool light. My only complaint is that I'd love to see the warm/cool option remember the last setting. It appears to if you turn it on in a short amount of time, but it won't from day to day.
Using it for streaming, its sitting on the stand of my Wacom because my desk is too thick for the clip. Its bright, I love the settings, I find the two in one so useful!, however the only concern is that its a bit unstable, I had to secure it to where I wanted it to sit, it wouldn't sit there naturally, it stands up fine but if you want it to sit in a certain position you might struggle a little, unless you manage to clip it onto a desk and not a Wacom stand like me, you might be alright.
Used it to improve the lighting during conference calls for work, and very happy with the result. The light itself is a tad harsh to look at (especially for long periods of time), so you may want to put something over it to mitigate that, but it does the job. The control for the light has a ton of different options and is easily accessible, with the power LED lighting up to make it easier to use. Switching between different temperatures is also quite easy, with it just being a tap of the middle unlit button to switch between the three settings (white, warm white, and a mix between the two). The mounting mechanism is also well-built, and is stable enough to support both my camera and the light. I've actually got an SJCAM SJ5000X action camera that I use as a webcam, and I was able to easily attach that using one of the adapters that comes with the camera itself. Can definitely recommend!
The clip does have a good grip and the action of moving it from one location to another, it is very firm as the 'peg type' open/close. It does have good flexibility in the 'sticks' although a bit stiff sometimes, they do move to where you want them. The only thing, I would have liked more length in the webcam/camera/phone holder arm. It isn't quite long enough for some of the work I need. It is worth the investment though.
