You get what you pay for. This was cheap and it looks cheap. It isn't stable in the ground and leans every which way. I just moved and late in the season (July) it's slim pickings for garden stuff. I'll wait till next year and go to my garden store for a heavier, wrought iron one like I left behind at my last house.
Not very sturdy. Spins constantly where you attach the other part, so I'm always having to tighten it so it doesn't come apart. Comes with a clip to hold flag in place... It's worthless. Also comes with a plastic pieces to keep your flag from sliping off. They don't fit on over the bar. If you live in an area that's is never windy, this may work out for you.
It looked nice but was constantly spinning around because it's two pieces. It was screwed right. I threw it away after a week and bought a solid one piece for $10 more from Amazon. It's perfect and doesn't spin the flag.
The Flafpole came in a huge box and the plastic package it came in was sliced down the side so all the parts were rattling around the box. The straight section is bent. There are no instructions. It was made in China and if I had known that ahead of time, would not have purchased it!
It was very easy to put the flag stand together, but it is not sturdy at all. Slightest of wind keeps turning it. I have to turn it back multiple times a day. I ordered two of these and one is still in the package. I won't be using it.
The flag stoppers supplied were too small in diameter to fit on top post / rail used anyway and flag doesn't stay on rail of course in windy conditions so I'll need to order another from someone else or find different stoppers
I put it in the ground and the bottom prongs broke immediately. Its currently sticking in just the pole and I hope it stays in. Will wind up having to buy a new one as I don't think as is it will be sturdy enough. Very disappointed.
