My granddaughter is 4 with a slim build, so the size 4/5 tops from this brand fit her just fine, with a little room to grow. As for the tops themselves, they're perfectly fine. Nice vibrant colors; no problem with the stitching, the fabric feels soft. For affordable basics (we used to call them "play clothes"), this package of tops is pretty hard to beat.
These are cute. The colors and graphics are as pictured. They definitely run small, so like other reviewers have said, make sure you size up. I figured since my daughter in on the smaller end of the growth chart for her age that I could ignore the warnings, but now I wish I didn't. They fit okay--I just wish the length (they hit around mid hip) and sleeves were a tad longer. Also, necklines aren't flat anymore now that they've been washed--they kind of fold forward a little. Not a huge deal if you iron, but I don't like to iron!
I always like the Spotted Zebra brand for my daughter's clothes. They hold up well and I appreciate the mix and match of the color schemes. Makes the "transition seasons" much easier. My only complaint with this item was the odd smell on the shirt with the cat face screen print. It took two washings to get the smell to go away.
Love the cute screen prints. However, as with other Spotted Zebra brand shirts, the necks seem to warp after washing. For the price, I guess I can’t complain, but if you’re picky about that, thought you should know. Better quality than Walmart brands but perhaps a notch below Cat & Jack from Target.
My daughter loves the theme and proudly sports the “books are a girl’s best friend” shirt. She even asked about Albert Einstein after seeing e=mc^2. It does run smaller than expected. In Cat&Jack she wears as 10/12 currently. We bought a 12 and it is smaller, but still fits.
