5.0 out of 5 starsBrilliant and challenging!
Reviewed in Australia on 23 May 2019
The notion of Stephen Fry being aligned with Jordan Peterson to speak against political correctness intrigued me and I wasn’t disappointed. All four debaters had clearly thought deeply about the subject and there are strong points made on both sides. Obviously there are no answers in the book, but it will make you think differently about what political correctness is and how it impacts people.

2.0 out of 5 starsNot worth the money

Not really worth to read. I suggest people can download the debate script from the website.

To be honest, the worst debate I want to see is to elevate the debate to personal level and using any words targeting debater’s race specifically.

I was very disappointed not to see the thinkers in the pro side.

The Loony Left are out of control and reading this book helps the reader better understand and bring Some balance to what is going on under the doctrine of “political correctness” in our society.

Stephen Fry expressed disappointment that political correctness was not being discussed but the others had brought their soapboxes along and were on them from the off.

2.0 out of 5 stars They don't really engage with each other.

Not a real debate. Just people shouting at each other ... I think the people defending Political Correctness are more shouty and vacuous, and so if you don't like Political Correctness, as I don't, you can then feel morally superior to them ... but I would rather read a good argument from the pro-PC side. Assuming, that is, that there is one ... and I know there are better ones than are presented here. Steven Frye, as usual, is a voice of polite rationality, but doesn't quite engage with all of the arguments. Jordan Peterson is ... well, like the late Christopher Hitchens, you either love him or you hate him, but you can find his arguments for free on YouTube. (How wonderful, by the way, it would have been to see a ... debate? ... between Peterson and Hitchens. Too bad no publisher can commission beyond the grave.)

5.0 out of 5 stars Transcript of an interview

Excellent book. Yes it is a transcript which is available to see for real on Youtube, but so what? I enjoyed reading it. Fascinating, and you may well question, which of the four held the most 'hatred' for their fellow humans. An eye opener in arm chair and professional psychology.

4.0 out of 5 stars The theory is interesting but a practical book for men is desirable
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 April 2021

Very interesting to hear this type of thinking from everyone. I myself had to check the dictionary often to try understand the concepts. Its like a different language side by side with normal English for the working man or the working woman point of view. There is a distinct disadvantage of woman versus men as there is Social engineering going on and preferences directed at woman to initiate and be their exclusive advantage, but the man is told nothing about this except to receive the fallout from it with fatal repercussions for the slightest thing. Anyway a very intellectual discussion but I think a practical book especially for men is required. A man has to be on his guard for his own sake because of this one sided view and the world is not as simple as that for the class of working men and working women.
